Is it ethical to sabotage your team to hurt a gold mult?

During this event, the low ranks are absolutely *flooded* with wasp smoky users multing for gold boxes, and I get the pleasure of blocking one in a corner myself with my viking. Every time I see a mult I camp in a place where I can pin them to a wall and force them to miss the meteor when they suddenly spring back to life. This usually means I get a low score as there aren't a lot of tanks to shoot at, but trapping the mult is more fun. Even if there aren't any mults, I specifically kill the wasps and try to negotiate with strong tanks on the enemy team to make sure all the wasps die. (it rarely works since I don't speak russian) Most of them name themselves something like non_buyer-tanki which is infuriating itself, which is why I ask the question in the title.

A: No, it's better to cap/score. You said it yourself, its sabotage, and it would help the team a lot if you focused on flag/point/ball instead.

B: I am NOT one of the Wasp/Smokies who mult for golds, I've had the (admittedly sadistic) pleasure of ending a Rio RGB by scoring during gold drop.

No because you become a mult, as well, making your team have 2 mults instead of one. Don't pay too much attention to gold mults, only try to flip them if you have the opportunity to do it.

If you ignore that player and keep focusing on the objective, then the battle is only going to have one mult. If you retaliate and try to "fight fire with fire", then you're basically as bad as the mult. So I think the answer is obvious.

Battles are unplayable at low ranks because of all the hackers (yes, actual hackers) and mults. Funds based on score and the constant rain of explosions make team play irrelevant. I'm still sometimes shooting people and defending the flag, the mult is sitting in the corner to not hurt their KD.

Low ranks? Shouldn't that mean my rank range? I haven't seen a single hacker in the entire event, guess the midranks have problems. I should play on Pengu a bit, assuming I don't get matched with Legends.

Whatever, that doesn't justify multing to deal with mults or whatever.

You would have fun, a few days ago had you been on the same map as me. My entire team were gold hunting mults. Game Mode: CTF. The opposing team waltzed in, took our flag and waltzed out with hardly any effort. Those within in range took some potshots at the flag bearer, but didn't bother to finish the job. But when the siren sounded....WOW, that would wake them up. They'd go after the gold, die, respawn and wait for the next one. That's the only time they ever left the base. Three times I went to the enemy base, killed the flag guards and grabbed the flag. But without team support it's hard for a Titan to out run most other tanks, even with SB activated.

Then yesterday, nearly the same thing, except my losing team was a bit more active. Again CTF. My team never left the base to try to grab the flag, instead, they played TDM. But when the siren sounded, our base emptied out, leaving the flag undefended. During a gold drop, a wasp made 3 flags. He was just entering the base when the siren sounded. Grabbed the flag...right in front of some of my teammates. They did nothing to stop him. I was firing at him, but he got behind the the other players waiting for the gold box. When the meteor hit, he was already on his way back. While they were fighting for the box, he capped the second time. Our team was respawning when he grabbed the third flag. I couldn't kill him. He used the GB hunters as cover so my Vulcan aimed at the nearest enemy instead of the flag bearer.

This is why I stick to DM's, a few 'inactive wasps' there = free kills, i mean its a good way of them paying to have a chance for gold right?  ;) And I target these inactives at the gold drop even more just to make them want to kill me, enticing war in DM is nice, atleast mults cant ruin DM's

They simply caught a container, opened it and got 30k crys out of it and used it to buy the wasp and smoky kit. What players don't realise is, once the event is over, all these small accounts will become dead, because they will not have any fuel to carry on.
