Saudi Arab Paint

Recommended Posts

32 Paints added into the shop section.
And Saudi Arabia is part of it.
Tanks are purchasing that paint to support that team. The point is , the paint is very very offensive...

https://imgur.com/a/cFbdCXD

The point is the flag of Saudi Arabia has A verse on it Which Says...

"There's No God but Allah, and Muhammad Is the Messenger of God"

As A muslim, the name of God on a tank! This is really very offensive! This Paint should be removed because the tank which has this paint gets hit and destroyed! Which is A DISGRACE

I request Tanki online to please remove the flag from the shop and if some player has purchased the paint, it should be replaced with some amount of crystals, or supplies ETC.

Or The verse should be removed at least...

Please Remove the paint instantly! It's really offensive!

Declined.

The verse cannot be removed, because it is the official flag of Saudi Arabia, that's not something anyone here can change. The flag itself will not be removed either, because in no way is it fair to exclude one of the participating countries in the World Cup.

The football paints were added so that you can buy yourself a new cosmetic and also show your support for your favourite football team. The flags are used to represent each team individually and to help players easily recognise a paint just by looking at it. The paints have no religious or even political significance. Their only purpose is to allow players of Tanki to combine the game together with the World Cup. Simply putting a flag on a virtual tank and destroying it in a battle doesn't automatically make it disrespectful towards that nation or their religion.

And just for reference, here's a list of other countries in the World Cup which have religious insignia in their flags:

  • Denmark
  • Iceland
  • Sweden
  • England
  • Spain
  • Mexico
  • Japan
  • Argentina
  • South Korea
  • Tunisia
  • Iran
  • Uruguay
  • Norway
  • Portugal
  • Switzerland

Yet for some reason no one from those countries is complaining about the use of their flag on the tanks. Hmmm...

next time you complain about something i will just list all the other people that face the same issue and did not complain and dismiss your complaint as invalid.

this means you be sent to hell

That sentence is part of what caused the decline of Muslims (not Islam, mind you) in the first place, soo...

I have an opinion on this idea, and it's an agree. I dont have time to write much right now, and I have a LOT to say. I'll post again tomorrow, hopefully.

Waaaiiit there. Do you know why religious discussions are forbidden on Internet? It is because people dont know how to defend their religion, so they turn to flaming and defaming. Which is unacceptable, and which I sense might soon begin. Guido, mmh, take to PM and dont discuss here. Invite me if you wish :p

Ehh, let's avoid that please?

It's the Iran mosque discussion all over again... Deja vu

True. But hey that's a verse from the holy Quran. If you imagine a sign from your religion get disrespected, you'd get offended too.

I AM a Muslim , and I LIVE in Saudi Arabia but I've never thought it was offensive in any way .

Welp, face it's king then.

lol you don't decide that

True.

Actually why not use the Coconut tree with two swords emblem rather the verse. It might reduce the heat here.

I didn't get offended, and I won't get into a religious discussion here because it's just not gonna change anything , and if it's gonna do anything at all it'll be giving me a warning in this forum . plus this is not the place to have discussions about people's beliefs (even if I wanted to do so I wouldn't do it here) .

not many people wear the paint anyway , I've only seen it once since they released it (it looks bad and who'd want to wear the flag of another country ?).

I'd like to clear up a misconception here. That is NOT a verse of the Quran. That is, instead, the declaration of faith in Islam. "There is no god but Allah" occurs many times in the Quran, and "Muhammad(pbuh) is the messenger of Allah" occurs once (Surah Fatah, verse 30), but the full declaration does not appear in the Quran as is. Nevertheless, it IS a sign of the religion.

Sorry for that, but still it all ends at a point which is one and the same.
