After a certain rank 1000 crystals are absolutely useless. Thats why i believe that the gold box/supply ratio should be like this

 

rercuit - master sergeant = 10% containers 90% gold boxes

master sergeant - warrant officer 5 = 30% containers 70% gold boxes

warrant officer 5 - major = 40% containers 60% gold boxes

major - general - 50% containers 50% gold boxes

general - generalissimo 60% containers 40% gold boxes

legend - 60% conatainers 40% gold boxes

 

the rank of the battle will be calculated by the smallest rank possible to join

The mechanic for a low propability contrainer drop exists already, and so the idea melts down to change the drop rates. That's more or less the same, even if the rule is not fullfilled by the letter T.
