Ability to select ball throwing strength in Rugby

Simple, and self explanatory. Allow tankers to determine how far they want the ball to go when they pass. Just make like Magnum. The longer you hold F, the farther the ball goes.

Valid

I also suggested this when Rugby first came out. Very good point - developers spend so much time working on a throw mechanic only to have it be almost completely useless due to the absolutely pathetic throw strength. I think the current throw strength should stay as default, when you tap "F" to throw, but holding the key down and releasing it should gradually increase power up to a maximum, like how it works with Magnum's shot power.

Great idea, except that I think throwing the ball in RGB is kind of pointless because of how uncoordinated the team is. Your teammate doesn't know when you are throwing the ball so often they just run right pass it when you throw it. I think they need to make throwing more of a viable strategy and then you can play around with it.

Really good idea, more liberty about the trowing, currently too limited. You will already use one hand to press F so it is not more complicated to do, to implement and to use.

Currently only Magnum turret have a small control on the throw, they can aim low or high.

As we all know rugby is a game played in many countries and it's main objective is to work as a team to score also it was added in the game a few years ago but what i have seen is when a player has rugby and wants to pass it to another team mate , he only has a certain range to pass it and a certain speed so let's take it as this , in the real rugby played physically , you can pass the ball with a certain power yo like , likely on tanki you can't , what my point is make rugby passing work like : the more time you press on "F" the more further it goes and make the speed of the flow 3 or 5 times faster !

Hope this idea is suitable in the game!

This is one of my favourite ideas, but... it's already been over 4 years since it was first suggested and still no change. Sadge.

I like that idea, and I would also add that they can make it so the hull dictates how far the ball can be thrown. So, for example, Lighter hulls could not throw it as far as Titan or mammoth. That could make these heavier hulls more popular.

well, that should only be added for other heavy hulls leaving out mammoth because it's OD is already too OP!

I mean fine, if the team chooses to do that, but I don't think mammoth is used much, and the OD in my opinion is okay, nothing special. When you look that most maps in MM are big then mammoth s OD wont affect you much. Also in rugby, which is the mode we are talking about, heavy hulls are not used much, but lighter hulls like wasp or hopper as you can cap the ball quicker without getting killed, because when you have the ball everyone sees you.

on my opinion , heavy hulls in modes like : rugby , assault , capture the flag . they should be useful by protecting the base not trying to score!

Yeah, so they either don't think it's a good idea, or they don't consider it worth implementing.
