Lower Ranks ---> Better Container Luck

 Share

Recommended Posts

I'm not saying this is exactly the case, but it sure seems like it me.

When I play on my alternate account, everyone is wearing a better paint than I do on my main. There are legit corporals and sergeants wearing flow and nightmare. If the paint isn't animated, they usually are wearing Zeus, Emerald, or Spark. This leads me to believe that TO tried to attract new players be adding better container luck for lower ranks.

I don't think any new players/alts would spend any money to buy a paint from the shop so RIP.

This makes me very sad :(

People see what tehy want to see. This is an example of psychology not probability.

Players of every rank get containers now. Every container is the same. Therefore, players of every rank will have fancy paints. No conspiracy needed.

I think there is a cognitive bias regarding the containers for the different ranks, but the probabilities now might be different compared to some months ago, as i.e. the World cup colors were introduced as well...

Poor beginner players. They probably don't know the opportunity they had in their hands and on their mom's credit card. The game hasn't teach these poor little players that they are bringing them a big opportunity to become something stronger and fancy. I feel so sad for them. It's like the game blinds them into not having the knowledge that they could buy a little secret box that could led them to infinite probabilities of having luck on getting a new currency or a new design on their virtual 3D object or anything else. That must hurt a lot that in the future they will look at this topic and notice that they lost almost everything. They will know the reality that their masters (developers) left them the good way behind them. It truly dissapoints me about this.

Life is unfair my friend...

Specially for the beginners. Life would be unfair for them in the future. It made upset the player who started this topic that wanted to share what he thought for these poor little human beings. He is probably damaged, seeing that they got a better opportunity on their life rather than us. It's hurtful saying that we could have these opportunities before, now they are gone for us and open for a focused type of players, BUT, they are hiding it for them.

@Adriel.RB, it's the principal problem of the game... Highest ranks buy the special paints & everything in the shop, and lowest are slowly leaving the game because it's impossible in a way to have fun playing the game, without investing a penny...

I am sure the percentages today are a bit different frm those of 3 months ago.  But the number of paits needn't affect that.  You have #.#% chance to get a 'rare' paint. If you do it just randomly picks from the 30 or 50 or whatever number of paits are available.

What certainly has changed the odds a little is they have added new categories for xt skins and the 100k, 300k and 1,000k rewards.  So something had to give.

Special paint do not make one slight bit of difference in game play.

I do not spend a penny on this game yet I have top quality gear and have fun every day.  So don't blame the game because your "impossible" is done every day by countless players.

Thanks, that sounds logical  :)

Give me a reason why not to believe this. There is so much evidence out there that it isn't even funny.

Luck and random chance do strange things. I play four accounts and unlock 15 containers at a time as soon as any given account has that many from mission chains.

My First Lieutenant alt just got the Secret Sauce animated paint. My Legent main got Glitch, then Peru among others. My Captain alt scored Draught and a 100k crystal box. My Second Lieutenant alt snagged Lumberjack and a container paint (forgot the name).

Is any one account doing better? IDK, maybe my Captain, but not significantly. But on the other hand, taken as a group, these M2 alts seem to have have scored slightly better than my Legend main. Animated paint on one - 100k crystals on another. That’s certainly leading...

But this is not statistically relevant

Quotes from wiki:

These boxes can be opened individually or in batches of five or fifteen at a time. Note that the percentage chances of high tier items does not change if you open the boxes individually or in bunches.

Attention! You can only receive items from the list of which you did not purchase yet. In other words, you can only receive items that you are not already in possession of.

^^Lower ranks may get better items because they own less. Therefore there chances of getting a rare item is a lot higher.

I understand what you are saying but I don't think it works that way. Take me, for example. I own about 20 common paints, with only 1 rare paint.

On the flip side, the recruit owns 0 common paints (besides green and holiday) and 0 rare paints. I think having more common paints increases the chance that you get the 1. common paint you want 2. of getting any rare paint.

Yea, it’s also just luck.

I think they also put the chances of getting rarer items down at events where there are more black golds..

I am Brigadier and I earned more than 20000 crystals from containers. I caught 1 container gold box (with Titan Shaft xD) and the rest are from daily mission chains. I am on week 7. I think that containers are great but I hate when I get drugs!

Because the game has one item called Container. It does not have Noob Containers and Buyer Containers and Hungarian Railfunner Containers. It just has Containers. They are all alike and they al use the same odds table.

Go to your garage.  How many Containers slots do you find?  One.  That is because there is only one type of container, all the same as one another.

If you want to learn more, take college level probability and statistics classes.

Agree.

I bought up a lot of inexpensive paints on 50% sale, so that containers would give me the expensive ones for free. It’s worked pretty well. A few weeks ago, I got Africa and I think Blacksmith from containers. I can now fool people into thinking I bought that Vulcan Mammoth kit with the impossible name, lol.

On my noob account tere7, I have been doing a few weeks mission chain and these were my rewards so far:

10k crystals

25k crystals

I then upgraded Shaft to nearly M1 during MU sales and then bought Vampire kit once I'd saved enough crystals

The other day I got 5 Gold Boxes

No White colours at all, they were all green or blue coloured (so far at least)

Who exactly said every container is the same?

It may help to show us some of that evidence.

For me, it is like
Any rank ----> Worst container luck

The best reward I have ever recieved is 5 gold boxes.

Yeah, I just opened 15 on Second Lieutenant alt. Best I got was 250 of each supply, although I did get about 5 of the 3500 crystal packs, which was pretty cool.

Speaking to the original topic, I’m pretty sure rank has nothing to do with rewards.

Did you open 15 one by one or 15 together using 'open 15' button? I was wondering if opening them one by one makes any difference.
