The reason you can't heal urself with the isida is that it would be too cheap that after u kill some1 u heal urself so that they dont have a head start when they come back.

also the "physics" engine for the isida would be far too complex and u might heal urself when ur at full health instead of healing the damaged tank of another person.

the isida actually was able to heal the user way back when it was first released.

nice guide again kool, but since i play isida since my ranks allowes it i have to say its not compleet yet;)

isida beats m0 and m1 freeze on m2 viking if m3 isida is on m2 viking, m3 isida beats m2 isida when it takes the freeze some time too get the isida in range like in silence when they have to come up...

keep in mind, isida is only good in low range war fair and hornet isida die a lot, use strong huls (no mamouths, their to big and too slow)

in long range war fair i hope u know the map so yu can sneak up on the enemy;)

be smart, dont stand nekst or behind bankers, keep your distance at all time!

(notting is worse then an isida on hornet that makes makes yu die, especially in silence maps on the red team..)

an other thing i keep seeing is peopel that play with one hand, they use wasd to get in healing range, never do this

always use z, x this gives yu movability and in real battles keep moving while healing, even if its in yur base, always keep moving because yur the enemys first target.

drugged an m3 isida is hard too beat, only m3 freezes, mines and big piles of tanks stop it from driving through and getting out with full healt, its the perfect gunn for suprice attacks. and 2 isida's cant be beaten drugged, they just take the flag and get out...

isida is the best gunn when yu want fast crystals, but keep in mind it takes time too manage and its takes even more time too heal suiciders like freezes and firebrids....

Good points wafje, but you have to agree that Isida wont lose a to a freeze with a sense of distance. :P

Isida hornet is not the best combo however in large maps it can be really annoying to deal with as if it is close enough it can outrun a Railgun's turning speed. ;)

Sorry Koolwalky, I agree with NoblePlatOne over your assesment of the M3 Freeze vs Isida. While I personaly use only M2 Thunder, I have seen isida players devasted by M3 Freezes due to sheer op'ing. Also, M3 Freezes are almost always on an M3 Viking or Mammoth, which can sponge 30-80 health more than than the Isida can muster. For God's sake, M3 Mammoth can take a mine. However you may have a chance aginst the M3 Hornet, Dictaor or Titan, all of which I have seen with M3 freezes, unless, in the case of the Dictator/ Titan, protective coats. :!:

M3 Isida cannot own an M3 Freeze agreed. But I have used M3 Freeze M3 Viking a lot of times and I know that M3 Isida' cannot kill me, but they are annoying as hell and thus I have to focus down the Isida' before killing the rest of the people, why? Because the Isida can live longer than the others. It would take only around 4 seconds to kill an M3 Hornet with Isida if I'm aware of it's position however if I'm not then the Isida will deal approximately 144 damage, that is that it survived for at least 6-9 seconds. How I'm able to do this math?

Using M3 Isida from my experience, I've always survived to deal at least 120 damage (One energy bar) and because of that I gain 60 HP, Then, I wait for 2 seconds and attack for one more second before finally dying. That makes it 144 damage.

However, if the freeze finds me first. That is if I'm healing and I don't have a full energy bar, I only have two moves left.

1) If the freeze is far away, I run away and wait for full energy bar even if that means that he'll be picking up my flag.

2) If I'm pretty sure the freeze will catch me, I'll just charge in and deal whatever damage I can do.

I completely agree that Freeze is over powered because of it's Damage and Slowing effect. :P

I completely agree that Freeze is over powered because of it's Damage and Slowing effect.

not really true, isida is underpowerd because its an 1.5 class gunn and freeze is a 2.0 class gunn.

theirfore freeze will when their both at the same level always winn.

and kool, m3 hornet with m3 isida goes down when a rail has a lock;), yu dont stand a chanse since yu can outrunn turning speed of the gunn but i turn with tank and gunn at the same time, i loze about 50% of my healt: 64 hp in close combat against the m3 hornet, in large map yu have time too aim so then i make it flip over, hornets are fast and verry weak!, take vikings;)

I've always survived to deal at least 120 damage (One energy bar) and because of that I gain 60 HP.

this can be so but thats in close combat;), in real combat the freeze backs up or drives a way and yu can only deal about 60 damage

considering that feezes have good paint like rustle (m3 freeze and high rank) the isida stands no chanse.

and as for attacking, dont keep healing yur team mate when the attacker is in your range, tank him out first;)

really enoying, m3 rail shoots the hornet and the isida doesn't finis it off. i could not heal faster than the m3 richo shot me so i died for nothing :(

M3 isida wins over M3 freeze. Tested this out in test server.

Sitting nose-to-nose? Try in an actually battle scenario. Read my above response to koolwalky.

i have been owned many times by isida m3 even when i had freeze

Although I do not make use of the Isida at present, it does seem like a very versatile weapon that helps both you AND the team.

These are very useful tips as well. Thanks for sharing! I`ll refer back to this thread if I ever decide to procure the weapon in question.

Maybe you didn't read the entire guide, if the enemy has above 120 HP, the battle is in his favour unless you can live for a couple more seconds after your charge wears off.

Anything below 120 HP is good to be dead against an Isida. Because it attacks for 5 Seconds.

24 Damage/Second X 5 Seconds = 120 Damage

I did read the entire post. So think About this: M3 Isida meets M3 Freeze (even with 80hp). Freeze has reach of 20 meters. Isida has reach of 15 meters. Freeze freezes Isida, basically paralyzing it in its tracks. Freezes swings around danceing around out of Isida's reach, all the while spraying its damage on Isiida. Isida cannot escape. Isida cannot reach Freeze. Isida can only sit there and wonder what the heck koolwalky is thinking about in this kind of frequent battle scenario. Isida can only die.

Isida loses in a head-to-head battle. Isida loses in an around-a-corner battle. My only hope is that the Freeze was stupid enough to attack me when it is up against the wall and cannot escape itself.

Again, I am not saying that an Isida should be able to dominate a Freeze. Freeze is, after all Tier 2. It should be a more powerful weapon. I accept that. But don't tell me that Isida has a resonable chance against M3 Freeze. And don't tell me that Freeze does not unbalance the game.

Yes it is true. The freeze user just needs skill to beat isida. Or he can just sneak up behind the isida user. No wonder freeze is better, it costs alot more than isida m3. Sorry koolwalky, but this guy is right.

How many freaking times was there a map large enough for the freeze to actually circle out of 15 meters range of the Isida?!

Even the Silence top is not big enough. And most of the people here are probably talking about "Silence" scenarios. Over here in my posts, I did say that "Once the Isida starts to attack, the freeze is dead if it has 120 HP or less."

And @AwesomeBlake33712, The scenario that NoblePlatOne said is about "Perfect freeze player" scenario. It's 1 v 1, the freeze has 50 meter large space to move around the Isida. Trust me, that's a fail on the Isida's side. If you take Isida in that kind of map than sir, you need to go back to your team and heal them instead of trying to solo. (No offence to aggressive Isida players, we know you're the best ones out there)

Isida loses in a head-to-head battle. Isida loses in an around-a-corner battle.

Isida wins in a corner battle as is able to outrun the freeze for long enough to do around 2 second worth of damage, Isida loses in head-to-head battle if the freeze player has 120+ HP.

Not starting an Argument, just restating my facts.
