NEED nominations to recognize skill and talent

Current ranking system general, marshall etc... is mainly indicating the hours and/or crys spent on the game, but says not much about the talent of the player.

 

I propose a new parallel promotion system, which gives players titles based on their skills and talent in the game.  That would give recognition to both non-buyers and buyers.  Few parameters in the new promotion system could be

- drugs usage:  number of drugs per hour played

- cry  usage:  number of crys per hour played

 

Other possible parameters:

- K/D ratio

K/D ratio is already in the profiles page. When it comes to crystals and drugs, when implemented, there might be old school chaos about "how game gives importance to buyers over non buyers".

My proposal is just the opposite.  It would better recognize skill and talent.  Regardless if you are buyer or non-buyer.

Adding a K/D part would highly favor campers, this is why the current rating system means nothing. There is no good way to find skill in MMS games without it being abused and screwing over certain players, but it could work for format battles.

That's why I suggested a W-L system in the I&S section. Basically, for each win you get when you join your team when it's are tied or losing, you get +1 in the W side. For each loss you get when you join your team when it's tied or winning, you get +1 in the L side. The best players should have the highest W/L ratio.

The problem with that is that there are many variables that can result in a whole team loss or win. For example, having a bunch of mults and quitters  on your team can end up forcing your team to lose, even though the devs said MM would be fair, it really isn't. I have been in multiple battles where I would have to carry a team of 4 to at least tie with a full, proper, overpowered team. Team wins and losses should not be applied to a players statistics since the player can actually be a very skilled player, but in some circumstances the player is placed on a bad team due to MM, versus a full team of players who can actually play and work together

Winrate will not be an accurate statistic as long as players can join and leave battles freely.
