مجموعة صغيرة ومنظمة معارضة ضمن مجموعة أكبر ، خاصة في السياسة

Word.

So to make things clear, One of the three teams must capture territories and earn the most  points, unlike the last war when the team needed to capture the fuel sources and capture the rocket, So the rocket territory wont be involved in this war ?

No, wrong on every count.

YES teams capture resources, YES the Rocket determines the winner, NO, K/D does not determine which team takes over a territory, YES "Stars" do determine which team takes over a territory.

How long will the war last?

Also, are your making the ranks of players random too? If not, then it might not be as fair because one team might, by luck, have more experienced players than the others, even if there is the same amount of team members.

Why are you releasing a new paint as well?

Is it cheap? I only have 3600 crystals   I hope I have enough!

The War lasts until one team wins. Sorry to be glib but that's the way it is.  It will last at least 5 turns but the odds are it will last at least 6 turns. It could last 10 or more. No one knows. 1 Turn = 2 days.

Membership will be random. With hundreds of thousands of players your concern here is extremely unlikely.

Last time paints cost what? 100 Cry? The paint cost is insignificant.

Wild Idea

How about a code like the promo code that will give us a random paint but for up to 5 accounts, that same paint. Meaning all your accounts or your close buddies in the same team.

1. You buy the paint with one account

2. You get a code with the paint somehow

3. You use the code before buying the paint in another account

4. You don't know your War team until War begins but your accounts or friends will be in the same team.

This idea defeat the purpose of preventing mult and will make team uneven in numbers.

Last war lasted 12 days. It is most likely to last longer as many players were disappointed by the short outcome, not everybody had the opportunity to get the 5 turns minimum to get the war rewards.

True randomisation should not look at ranks, and if team are even the war will take too long. With the star system any ranks should have equivalent chances to win, mostly skills and good equipment will be key.

New paints are a way for tanki to follow account and record progress, plus it show in witch team you are and it is good for video making/advertising on the web.

It should not be expensive because we are unlikely to be able to keep it and it should be easy to get for low ranks. 3600 should be more than enough, last time it was 100 crystals. You still have about 2 weeks to gather more crystals.

Wat level diu ju have to by to partisapeit

During last war players who reached the rank of Master Sergeant and above could participate. It is most likely going to stay the same. But just in case try 2 increase your rank within the next 2 weeks (it's holiday, you should have plenty of time).

Will battles only count as non pro?

I like my no-supply matches....

Normal battles with MMS would be the only one that will give you stars for obvious reasons.

Well ... the players amount are the same .. i mean let's say 900 will participate in the war so it will be 300 bear . 300 wolf and 300 Lion .. But what about the ranks ? it will be fair and same ranks and players in every faction ( like the matchmaking system )  or just random players ?

It has to be somewhat relevant. If it was a random distribution, one faction could end up with stronger players than other factions and thus dominate the war. The system should take in players' equipment level, rank and even supply count (etc..) into the measure.

rank has no correspondence with skill, yet you bloody people think it does. Even if this happens, the system would have to do calculations far superior to make the process easy. Which is why they're doing the paint thing, less effort. Though, they could change their minds.

Viking, Taffy, Izzy... were any of you contacted by TO before tis event?  It seems if they were going to contact active players from War #1 they would reach out to at least one member of the EWC.  More TO propaganda or fact?

----------

Three factions seems better.  Randomized teams spoils my plan for War #2 but that's OK.  This will reduce but not eliminate dead-weight mults flooding into one team.  The stars system if set up correctly will also remove the ability for mults to sabotage a team.

Hmm... now organizing ateam made of random players speaking 40 languages using different forums ... that's gonna be harder.

The part where it mentions in the opening post......

“”This time we’ve invited active members of the community to help prepare the War, and we hope you’ll like what we’ve prepared!””

…...This was done on the RU forum months ago. The RU forum admins compiled a list of Russian forumers who had contributed suggestions during the 1st war and asked them exclusively to contribute more ideas in Private, or something like that.

A link to the announcement topic(in Russian)

http://tankionline.com/ru/2018/04/konkurs-para-bellum/

Rough Translation of said topic.....if you CBA to read it all the TL:DR is the list of 11 Russian forumers are bullet pointed and best contributors were given rewards shown at bottom of spoiler, how lovely for them.

Competition "Para bellum"

Friends!

More recently, "Tanks Online" hosted the "War" event. Now we are starting to develop War II. As promised, we invite you to participate in this process to make the coming event even steeper.

After the end of the First War, we collected your feedback in a special topic "War. What to change? ". We have carefully studied them and want to invite the following tankmen to take part in the development of War II:

  • Guard_of_world

  • Giskard

  • 3lo4_tanki

  • 3BEPO3ABP

  • lllWMlll

  • runtothehils

  • AZURE_LION

  • ded_1953

  • prgprg

  • Nobody-is-Perfect

  • Ceterum_censeo

With the tankers from this list in the next 48 hours we will contact via private messages on the game forum.

Perhaps during the contest we will add this list to players who already sent us their feedback.

If you want to take part in the development of a new "War", then read on!

Your task will be to come up with the concept of a new event, in detail, but as laconically as possible to describe the rules and mechanics of the "War" that you see.

Be sure to consider the following points:

  • determining the effectiveness of the parties (U / P or other criteria) - how will it be determined which fraction is steeper than the other?

  • display on the map - if there are objects in your script, how correctly to display them on the map? Will they disappear when you capture or, conversely, something new will appear?

  • The voting process - how to determine where the faction should make the next move? Should every voice have an equal weight or whose opinion can be more significant?

  • describe the criteria for victory - what should the faction do to win?

  • the number of attacks / defenses and factors that can affect these values?

  • additional mechanics (for example, conditions for early termination of the scenario)

  • It is allowed to use those mechanics who were in the event "War". When developing the concept, consider that in War II there will be exactly 3 factions and they will be without locating!

Leave your ideas right here in the comments to this topic.

The terms of participation:

Leave no more than one comment from the player;

If you change your mind or want to make edits to your ideas - just edit your message (the button "Edit" under the comment).

write only on the topics indicated above;

The prizes

The authors of the most logical and interesting reasoning will be invited to the development team of the final scenario of War II.

All participants whose comments will attract our attention (including the participants who are included in the development team outside the competition) will receive:

50,000 crystals

10 gold boxes

10 containers

Dates:

Comments can be left until 10:00 Moscow time on April 9

The list of winners will be announced on April 10 during the day

They also might have read some ideas in the EN war room feedback topic, in which case they could at least give credit to those guys.

Remains to be seen if this war is better though. Bit wary of the Stars thing, looks like it'll benefit the team with most no-Lifers in it. But we'll see.

On behalf of all the bloody people, even if ranks doesn't correspond with skills which I did not state, it does usually correspond with equipment. No matter how skilled you are, it's an upstream swim brawling with a person with a higher equipment level, especially if he's an active supply user (aka, noob drugger).

I'm pretty sure you misunderstood me. My theory is the system, similarly with MMS, will distribute players based on their ranks/garages/supplies count/etc. NOT their skills, that's just stupid.

Yes they did, plus it was summarised in a report and shared with Nives.

how expensive is the paint? what are the rewards?

Lol i like your nik :D you fell short from Severus_sniper

Regarding cost we do not known yet but it was 100 crystals lat time.

As for reward, it has not been shared yet, there is still about 2 weeks to go. When Nives can share this precious information he will share it.

This idea defeat the purpose of preventing mult and will make team uneven in numbers.

The proposed code would give the same paint to 5 accounts, one can decide for friends or alts.

This would actually prevent multing, because your alts would be on the same team, if used of course. Otherwise players would be tempted to mult with their alts for the good of the main account/s.

This time I'll participate.

Before Overdrives ruin the game?
