  1. 1. Rate TX on a 1-10 scale with 1 being "I'll never bother to play it again" and 10 being super-duper fun...:Best game EVER!"

I should give it another go (the battles were alright), but I just don’t have enough time to wade through the fussy out-of-battle UI / sections and work out what everything does.

I think TO is much more accessible for casual gamers.

Maf is also well known for his sarcasm and jokes, plus all of those who liked are notable forumers who know him well. Just wanted to remind you of that (although the point, I imagine, still stands. Maybe in a different way).

They didn't think about the bad PCs, they could do some fixes to boost our fps, I play tanki online with 60 fps, and I play Tanki X with 10 - 15 fps even on lowest graphics..

So I never play it and not willing.

Tanki has turned into trash ever since 2016 updates, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give TO a 4, since TX is practically the same thing as this, just more P2W, I gave TX a 3. Overall, I suggest tanki should look at the reason why we went from 220k+ players all the way down to only 2k players, the chat servers are not even alive anymore, I miss those days when before a server update, everyone would rapidly chat , I miss the days when it wasnt that much of a P2W, I miss when paints had certain protection and their was no such thing as MM and modules, maybe thats why tanki lost, they took everything away from us, and now I see these buyers with M3s in my battles drugging and steamrolling us, yet they dont even have the skill to turn their turret

If I remember correctly, the most amount of players that TO has ever gotten online at one time was just above 100k. And it sure ain't down to 2k players except maybe right after server restart. I wished they didn't switch the stats of hunter and Viking back in the rebalance update of October 2016, but they already did, and there's nothing I can do about it except deal with it. It's not good to dwell in the past but it is a great idea to look to the future.

but so far the only new things I noticed about tanki that are good are probably increased exp for every kill (it used to be 10 now its 15) and you get the amount of crystals you actually earn, regardless if your team loses due to mults or not. Those two good factors compared to all the other things tanki has done to itself doesnt seem to work

Because it is not for bad PC. You have TO for that.

That can be argued, if someone was a old TO player then yes, but I3.3 came out in 2012.

Now, to my predestined point. I don't get why one creates a topic about a rating a game, and then criticizes the game, because of a fixed reason, then tells others not to have an open opinion. Honestly, you guys are making TO, look worse than it's from your eyes. It's one thing to say a game is bad, but no TO players take it to the extreme. They say it's bad, while spreading their toxicity, I mean sometimes we have our disagreements, but we shouldn't wish to harm another on these remarks. I mean did Nives openly say, "Spread your toxicity," the answer is clearly no. I'm not saying TO is bad, but the matchmaking concepts are inevitably the same. I mean say if a legend couldn't find opponents, they would be placed with recruits, would that be the same as the three leagues prior to Master in Tanki X. Yes! Yet, this unconventional bickering will still occur, no matter the odds. So, the matter is not that you don't like Tanki X, you predominately favor Tanki Online.

And for the players saying Tanki Online is giving Tanki X players...

Here's an old, but gold topic:

It is debatable now because PC power have improved since but for example my laptop is already in Full Throttle with TO (Fan is all the time at max velocity), so I know that I'll kill it if I play TX.

Now new made game (with clients), come with more graphics option to suite a wider range of PC capabilities. TX should be one of them but would not be as good as game developed last year.

Interesting...maybe I'll give it another go.  How far do you have to level up, or roughly how many games before the bots go away?

At least to Bronze league. Training league is full of bots. There are still some in Bronze too I think.

And what's with all the nonsense of dealing more damage on the rear of the tanks? Is the game trying to force them to not use their turret rotation controls?

Gives light hulls a place. Often in TO flanking is somewhat unrewarding. You fire one shot and immediately the enemy knows your position and probably kills you. In TX you get more out of careful positioning - light hulls are rewarded more for flanking and heavy hulls punished more for being out of position. There's also a slight skill element to it, in TO you can shoot anywhere at the tank, in TX you need to aim a little to do max damage. Shaft does full damage only on shots to the turret, for example.

I played a few more games in TX.  The game play got much better without the stupid bots, but the graphics started to become annoying somehow.  My initial response to the graphics was that they were great, but as time goes on they seem less and less appealing.   They actually don't have as much detail as TO graphics, the buildings are not as well crafted and detailed and the landscapes seem too contrived.  The only thing that seems better is the backdrops and things just past the battle zones (open to players in parkour mode of TO).

If TO went down tomorrow, I'd probably start playing TX, but as it stands, I like TO much better...even with the crappy matchmaking system.

Additional, next day:

Wow, I just played TO again after a week of TX.  TO graphics are MUCH better.  I didn't really realize just how poor the graphics are in TX until I got back to TO.  TO had so much more detail and is so much cleaner.  I said it before, but when I first saw TX graphics, I was very impressed, but as you live with them there is something that is off about them...I can't quite put my finger on it, but I know I much prefer TO graphics.  They seem much higher quality.

T-X graphics seem cartoonish to me.  Especially the tanks.  Seem out of proportion.

...

TO graphics have detail . . . no. This is a no. I can understand TX having an unpalatable art style, but in terms of graphics quality it is miles ahead of TO.

Want to be able to play decently in TX?

Want to buy OP equipment early?

Want to buy OP modules early?

No problem, just have a big fat wad of cash and you can have it all in TX.
