Juggernaut, Balance Changes and new XTs are coming!

That makes me sad.

actually... it's not really a nerf after all... they simply nerfed the effect of individual arcade shots at far range... but buffed it's firerate... but as we all know shaft doesn't even have to use arcade shots at far range cause it has scope so this is simply a buff to arcade shots at close range

Yes, but most likely diminished. Question is : diminished on the other enemy too? To be confirmed tomorrow.

Yes probably, in test servers you could see the Juggernaut getting redder and having after-burn damages. To be confirmed tomorrow.

 

Stop acting like you're the dev and know every single information about the update when you don't.

To whomever thinking freeze is OP against juggernaut: It's not, because you are faster than wasp, it takes around second to lock on, and you kill anything you aim for. And you can always camp in a corner, so enemies approach from just 90 degrees angle, and you can kill them all by striker mode with splash. A skilled player should be able to outplay the whole battle, maybe even without dying.

During all the time i spent on test server with juggernaut mode; and even after looking in youtuber's videos that about juggernaut...

Almost all time +9 guys having freeze & going for juggernaut, and i can assume that after i get juggernaut, my worst nightmare is a freeze...

As the juggernaut is marked already; so everyone focus it... even with a speed greater then an m3 wasp, still can't manage to run the whole time, sometimes right after you spawn, you get frozen and u can turn your turret to do anything, you find urself circled by 3 freezes and ur shots do nothing since they can't even reach...

Perhaps, but perhaps its just that i suck with juggernaut xP  :ph34r:

I think he means what happens if a player whose using Juggernaut self destructs by using the delete button or falls off the edge of a map and no one actually manages to kill the Juggernaut player at the time before they self destruct.. What happens then I wonder?

In the test server a new player got it. Is it a random player or the last one who shot, we will never know unless it is communicated.

And once the Juggernaut is cornered or slow downed (by a freeze) - any other tankers have the possibility to shoot at it. Once it is slowed down it is the perfect target for the OP Striker salvo.

i read that if you have any protection, in these case Freeze protection, it will still work when you are a Juggernaut, but I'm not sure if that's true or not with all the speculations around here.

I think you are right. But even 50% protection won’t save you from 2-3+ Freezes ganging up on you.

3 freezes on you, bunch of missiles from few strikers and railguns shot... get godmode's paint to stay alife lol :D

but PLEASE dont do the Juggernaut massages color like the gold one.

If so,i affraid that my hearth will not survive in that mode ;D

As if Thunder needed a boost - you see a lot of them every battle.  Why is that?  Because it is weak?

 

"but everyone equips thunder protection"...

 

And why do you think people equip Thunder protection?  Because it is weak????

 

Silly update. 

 

How about you tweak magnum down a notch and give Striker a boost.

There's a reason you don't see strikers in battles... even though very few people equip that module.

Run into the group and then hit overdrive.

If overdrive will load as it did on test server, this is all you need to do. Splash salvo, overdrive and repeat. Railgun down campers without DA, salvo those with DA. I can't wait to try it.

Wow. This is one of the best updates that Tanki Online ever had since it was released in 2009. I have long waited for the juggernaut tank update to be released and its finally here.

 

Since the release of Tanki Online in 2009 till recently, I haven't seen anything particularly unique apart from the recently added assault mode and rugby mode. Juggernaut will now bring a new level of experience and fun to all players and also make Tanki Online more diverse, different, more interesting and fun to play. I have long waited for an update like this.

 

Juggernaut is the king of tanks, and I love it.

 

The new XT skins are finally here. Thank goodness for that because we all need XT skins for all turrets and hulls. However, I wish it was possible to have XT skins for protection modules as well.

 

I did complain once or twice about the underpowered level damage parameter of Thunder. Thank goodness that Thunder now has faster firing rate and more splash damage when hitting targets at long range.

 

Shaft has been slightly nerfed in sniping mode. I am not happy about the nerfing of shaft because it will be too weak to destroy enemy tanks in sniping mode. The sniping mode of Shaft would need to reload faster in order to compensate on the negative attribute of weakening the full zoom in sniping mode of the Shaft turret. Shaft does take quite some time to load to full zoom level in sniping mode, so that give's time for enemies to hide behind walls and buildings.

 

Please re-buff the sniping mode of Shaft like it was before, otherwise Shaft will be underpowered.

 

Thank you and I like the juggernaut, XT skins and the Thunder buffing update.
