Juggernaut, Balance Changes and new XTs are coming!

ok first time using juggernaut and was surprised it was easier then I thought it would be. just need time to adjust to the shooting system but over all was easy to use. i had fun with getting 3 kills .. impressed will battle more in juggernaut mode then others seeing you get better kills scores then regular battles. the kill mechanize there are  issues with it. like 3 kills but only receiving less and only getting 1 kill score.

Guys I think I figured out the juggernaut issue, it isn't actually getting the DA boost. When I shoot at it with DP, I'm still doing 1.8k damage instead of 915.

It has like 9000 to 10000 hp, so it can take DD damage.

That doesn't seem to bother some players :D

It takes about 7 seconds of constant freeze barrage before it dies, no it can not.

Depends what rank and equipment. I was talking higher-end, like those with M4.

So I was playing on Future JGR and this one guy started off as the juggernaut. He was the juggernaut the entire match because he chose to camp on the roof tops. He easily won by a landslide. We need something to prevent this from happening.

How many of those kills made with JUG and how many not as JUG?

 

Doesn't JUG take some characteristics (health?  protection?) from the "user"?  In some of those cases user rank >> enemy rank.

Because half the field is killing the other half that is only concentrating on JGR.

At least in Brest, the Juggernaut spawn point should be in the middle of the map, because if a Juggernaut reaches the top, or spawns in the top of the buildings, it's very hard to kill it. And the mode is not balanced for all turrets.

 

The mode is fun and frustrating at the same time, I was playing it with my trow away accounts for some hours, but now I think I'll not bother joining this mode.

 

Freezes killing Juggernaut is not as bad as Freezes roaming around killing everyone else.

I would like to point out that Juggernaut is just a glorified DM and I dislike it. I suggest making kills only valid if you're the juggernaut. Food for thought.

in future it's just a bunch of noobs who get juggernault and camp on the buildings... like literally every future battle it's always the same rubbish. 



enough with your bragging okay little boys, if everyone can do it then it's nothing special so just keep your mouth shut

I haven't played Juggy mode much yet.  I am a little disappointed in the new mode.  It's my own fault because I thought it would be Juggy against everyone else.  That seemed like it would be really fun.  The reality of Juggy is that it is only DM...well, DM with one really badass player.  I also thought Juggy would be more powerful.  In the few games I played, no one got more than two or three kills before another player took over.  

 

I had envisioned more of a GodMode_On kind of game...so much for my guesses.  Overall it is still a good update though.  It is a slight variation on DM and that is welcome.

 

It borders on shocking that Thunder would get a buff.  Well, the hoard of already powerful Thunder players out there are happy with an even more powerful turret.   Thunders, please target only Freezes (Freezi ?)...not me :)

JUG definitely needs more health.

And Rail as primary weapon... it gets off one shot then the freezes take over, allowing magnums to drop the bombs on it.

Would be better off with rail (one tap) and twins (hold spacebar)

 

Yup - the straw argument that Thunder needs help because players equip protection modules.  HELLO.  There's a reason they equip those modules. Should Vulcan be made even weaker because hardly anyone uses that module?

There was one battle I played without any freeezes. I really enjoyed it. Other than than, its painful and boring. The freezes never fail to become juggernaut, but they are quickly brought down by the other freezes...

Just tried Juggernaut mode for the first time and it's dumb. Was happily taking pot shots at the thing with my Smoky and hoping I might steal the kill (from the Freezers) and got killed by a Freezer sneaking up on me.

 

What's the point of going after the Juggernaut if it just makes you an easy kill for someone who isn't going after it? It's effectively a Gold Box that can shoot back.

It seems like camping on one of the fortresses is the only way for the juggernaut to be able to fight back against those freezes.
