Juggernaut, Balance Changes and new XTs are coming!

It seems like camping on one of the fortresses is the only way for the juggernaut to be able to fight back against those freezes.

And while the wolfpack of Freezes pin down Juggernaut, the sound of incoming from the far-away Magnums looms in the air......

I played a few games now. First game was OK. I did get the Jug once and managed a few kills.Just long enough to s figure out how to use each weapon.

 

Second game was not fun. Didn't even see the Jug but twice, on Wolfenstein.  Third game I was put right back on Wolfenstein. The though bored me so I left.

 

IMO: It's better than DM.  Unlike DO it might actually be worth playing from time to time. Fund payouts were good even halving to correct for the ongoing event.

 

I did not see Freeze mobs in these games but yeah they are everywhere now for SOME reason. I don't think that is a JN issue though.

I love how on big ranks juggernaut cant survive longer than 30 seconds. And on low ranks its only one who ruins whole battle or its full of noobs who die in 10 seconds.

And chat full of "жига даун" because i kill everyone with fire who kills fat noob so i end up near top anyway

Wait, so the only thing juggernaut does is adds a OP tank to DM?? I thought that your main goal would be to kill the jugger...

Wait so it IS just a DM with a supertank!

That's not very good...

Still pretty decent tho. 

Also I have something I need to point out.

It is SUPER ANNOYING how that voice yells out so many useless notifications!

"username has claimed first victim"

"username is unstoppable"

"username is enraged"

"blah blah blah!"

I agree, that's why my other idea was to nerf the freezing effect.

JGR on Brest is no good. Tank goes up on top of either tower and cannot be killed. Just saw a guy rack up a full 100 kills.

They could make the scoring system like Pro battles - 1 point per kill, but killing the Juggernaut should be worth 75 points. Maybe that would stop randoms from killing everyone else and focus more on the Juggernaut. Points are only suggestions.

Some actual suggestions to balance the mode: Juggernaut gains 75% resistance to the effects of freeze. Juggernaut is slowly losing health, forcing it to go out and kill tanks instead of camping in a corner. The last person to damage the tank gets to be the juggernaut if it dies from this. Juggernaut gets double armor (I assume this is a bug) but overdrive goes up to 5 kills from 3, so it doesn't have to rely on overdrive regeneration so much.

I haven't played Juggy mode much yet.  I am a little disappointed in the new mode.  It's my own fault because I thought it would be Juggy against everyone else.  That seemed like it would be really fun.  The reality of Juggy is that it is only DM...well, DM with one really badass player.  I also thought Juggy would be more powerful.  In the few games I played, no one got more than two or three kills before another player took over.  

 

I had envisioned more of a GodMode_On kind of game...so much for my guesses.  Overall it is still a good update though.  It is a slight variation on DM and that is welcome.

 

It borders on shocking that Thunder would get a buff.  Well, the hoard of already powerful Thunder players out there are happy with an even more powerful turret.   Thunders, please target only Freezes (Freezi ?)...not me :)

I can't manage more than 6 kills with JGR before dying, but I suck at rail and striker. I expect to get better over time.

The mode has way to go before it become a beautiful mode. Currently, from playing the first day, I like it and what I was told I feel that I have been delivered to some extent.

 

Current MMS maps either favour or completely disfavour The Juggernaut. Freeze's effect to nearly immobilize a tank makes it hard to get out of a crowd of pure freezes, once caught. It's not about freeze's damage, but I think more about how fast you get freezed; it would be considerable to change how much heat resistance or freezing resistance juggernaut should have, because in other modes freeze's freezing effect isn't that terrible. 

 

 

 

Good camping spot; it really won't be hard for someone to be the first to claim 100 kills in 10 min in juggernaut, with all the imbalances of maps in relation to The Juggernaut.

Someone suggested everyone is on a team against Juggwrnaut. Not sure how this would be scored, but aside from that, I like the idea. It’s really frustrating to be near a Juggernaut kill only to have someone snipe you from behind. Happens all the time.

Maybe when a Jug is killed the killer gets 50 points, the rest get 10, or something like that.

1. God damn it Tanki. Stop releasing new modes and updates and hold a crazy weekend not the next day, but the VERY SAME DAY. It puts us all at a disadvantage.

2. Perhaps have 2 teams vs Jug, that will cut down on people like me who just kill whoever crosses their van, and use the JGR indicator as a faint guide to where hoards of low health scrubs are.

3. Nerf speed. I am fine with dmg and hp, but it is way to fast, and disfavors close range turrets. I have noticed one thing though, light hulls seems to do worse in very JGR match I've been in, probably because the amount of stray ammo flying about concentrated none postal code and mines reduces their health a lot.

4. Raise Min rank to Major. This will stop the step-in seal-clubbin psychos from just abusing it.

 

As mentioned by others, I feel I can get better at both hunting and being the Juggernaut as time goes on, I'd really just prefer Twins m5 or M6 because I suck at rail.

 

Re: thunder, what in the actual redacted were the f!nt!n!l-for-brainz devs thinking, giving the most used, most powerful and strategic turret in the game not only more damage but a fast ROF. God redacted redacted it. I don;'t normally buy into the "one turret is more OP and knobbier than another", but this take the cake.

Bozo88, I can collaborate your view on light hulls vs JGR. It’s not pretty. I tried a Second Lieutenant battle with Hornet-Isida M2.10 and could not even get close to the beast much less kill it.

 

I actually won a later JGR game in Kungur when I stopped trying to kill the beast and just played the round as a normal DM.

The strategy is to stick around the juggernaut and kill people as they get somewhat near it, if people start to overwhelm the juggernaut you then step in and try to kill the juggernaut yourself and go straight to your favorite camping spot.

The getting near Juggernaut is easier said than done. But I have seen Juggernaut drivers exploit map bottlenecks, like spaces behind buildings or bridges to minimize the number of attackers they have to deal with at any given time.

I have played juggernaut and became juggernaut myself and found this tank amazing. However, I find that the juggernaut hull needs to have more HP of health.

 

Questions:

 

1. Is it possible for the juggernaut tank to catch gold boxes?

 

2. Can juggernaut collect supply boxes?

 

3. Can juggernaut be used for parkour battles?

 

4. It it possible to create pro battles with juggernaut?

TO said in announcing Jugger that their desire was to create a 2nd DM-style mode.  Turning Jugger mode into one team against the Jug would undo TO's intent for this mode.

 

Just let the player base mess with the mode for a couple-few weeks before reaching conclusions pm long-term fixes.  

 

Freeze has been in effect awhile now.  And that is proving to be the fiasco everyone predicted. What was TO thinking turning its DPS dial up to 11? I am getting tired of seeing freezes in every damn game. The new Magnum.

Questions,

 

1; What is the main point of the Gamemode, If it's teamwork, how come players have the ability to kill eachother, mainly What's the goal of the new tank?

 

2;How  much health is given to the Juggernaut? Is it based on your own tank?

It is the same as DM 

but one lucky guy gets the J-tank then the guy who kills it gets it ...

I think I got a bug.

Its a loophole or a Lucky Spaw.

 

So after I killed the Juggenaut in my alt I spwaned here

So I basically could not get out of that place and It was like a fort for players.

So I had no trouble at all to get 100 kills.

 

But it still is not correct, and should be fixed.

So that not everyone can make esy 100 kills.
