So buying M3 shaft would be a mistake? Is the nerf really this bad?

all they nerfed was they made weak damage 25% instead of 50% and decreased the maximum effective ranged slightly... but both only for arcade shots..

sniper shots wasn't even touched at all...

i think this nerf isn't even a nerf cause you rarely use arcade shots... and when you do it is at close range, so decreasing range and weak damage doesn't affect that, but they did increase reload so it's actually more of a buff.

In case anyone is interested, Juggernaut's Overdrive charges up 15 times faster than normal. So instead of getting 1% every 4.5 seconds, you get 15% every 4.5 seconds. Not sure what the charge per kill is, but it seems to be around 50%.

I think it is slightly under 60% and it seems to give around 10% just by hitting someone and not killing them, or maybe I was just seeing things.

Must have been a coincidence and your OD jumped by 15% just as you damaged someone. 15 times faster simply means that the charge jumps up in 15% increments.

Freeze is pretty bad in ASL mode as well.

Had the worst ASL battle ever.

I'm red team on Highways, went in as Isida - figured I can get decent score healing the would-be-cappers.

Boy was I wrong.  Every player on my team rushed ahead solo (on the upper road no less).  If they were not sniped by shafts the 3 freezes waiting by the base took care of them easily.

It boggles the mind how players can get to Legend and still have no concept of a team battle.

Juggernaut is not a battle mode. It is a new sales trick. Everybody has to drug all the time against the juggernaut - you have to purchase supplies.

Smart business move by Tanki Online - but boy it is primitive and boring.

True team battles are rare. In my experience you have to play with Russian players before it happens. I am not Russian. Every time I think "great teamwork" it is almost always Russian players that does it right.

In most other battles people just attack attack attack like zombies. In many battles drugs replaces strategy - people just brute force attack with drugs.

It is not exactly chess. More like single players boxing on drugs. Even in CTF. And tank battles should include a little more thought and preparation than small kids pushing their tank forward on drugs and paid for enhancements.

Tanki is not evolving. There is no strategy anymore. No teams. Just boom boom. And that means no addictive gameplay.

Addiction - returning, loyal players in the long rung. And paying players too.

Not sure I agree - especially with the "russians are the only" team players.

Before server amalgamation there was more team-play.  When people can communicate there is a better chance for co-ordination.

Now, half the time you are playing with players who don't speak same language. How are you gonna have good team-play with Russians (or any other nationality) if you can't communicate?

In the past the winning team tended to stay in the battle, and if they were lucky they could have another round with a big chunk of their former team. Playing with the same people on your team multiple times, brings you into simmilar situations, and from those you can learn what works and what doesn't.

So while in the past you had a chance to get to know how the 2..3 lead players of a battle act, watch them, think of how to support then in attacks and defense - you now have only 10min snapshots with different players over and over again.

I agree with this 80% - In the past I have noticed how the former team can change once 1-2 players leave and 2 new join in - The team work will not be the same anymore nor the game-play. 1-2 players can have a huge impact in game because of their playing style and domination. You can't learn their playing style in in few battles but you can try doing similar style of your play. Once the good players leave - The team end up losing to the previous team hence why there is a huge difference between a smart/tactical player and a player who isn't tactical or without any plan at all.

Half? I wish it were half. I see l like 90% Cyrillic.

There is something to this but I think the effect is overstated. There's really no excuse why people who have looged hundreds of hours in a game have not learned certain core team principles. Action is too fast for typed communication anyway. What is needed are players who just know how to fall in with other players.

You see that in about 20% of the players and the rest ... as Wolv posted you gotta wonder how they ever got to upper ranks. I have never played a established game with a playe4r base so unskilled at their chosen game. SMH.

Hazel promised a feature to allow us to communicate with others regardless of the language.

There are less Freezes in test servers, players are trying other turrets like rail, thunder, rico and twin, but Freeze is always effective. A nerf to freezing power would be good.

No of times i became juggernaut today = 64 ;) ;) ;)

Super tank

Juggernaut tank is incredibly WEAK: its turret is a double-barrelled Railgun, combined with a Striker launcher, and its hull is unbelievably weak with a speed of a light hull and FREEZE destroys it

Based on the majority of feedback highlighting Freeze users rendering Juggernaut woefully helpless, maybe Juggernaut should be immune to afterburn and afterfreeze, just like Godmode_ON was in the past.
