This is so your tank won't get killed if you need to use the bathroom, get some water, etc.

Can't be done. Reason:

 

1) Shoot

2) If they spot you, press pause and be invincible

3) wait until they loose interest and drive away

4) contine at step 1

Your tank does disappear and not spawn when you die while in pause mode. So the worst that can happen when you pause is that you die once only.

Also, if you hit pause at the instant you're killed, your tank doesn't go back to the respawn point until you hit pause again. The camera stays at the point you were killed. During this phase, you can go do whatever you need to do without getting killed. Or you can stay and watch the action unfold at the point you were killed. If you go to the garage and change turret, tank, etc. when you hit pause and respawn, you won't automatically die because of the change. You respawn with all your changes and get on with the battle. But you have to be quick because all you have is a split second to press the pause button. I had to reassign that key so I wouldn't have to reach half way across the keyboard to hit "P".
