Repair kit needs a counter drug

DA and DP supplies are counters, SB and mines aren't affected by general turret balancing. (everything turns too fast at m3 anyway) But repair kit cripples turrets with limited ammo over those with consistent power in drugs wars. This was slightly fixed by changing the way RK works to give fire/freeze/isida/vulcan/twins/rico a bit more effectiveness, but where does this leave hammer?

 

Still crippled. RK should have a counter supply on the same smart CD as RK to give people another option over instant healing against limited ammo turrets and a way for said limited ammo turrets to fight back against the repair kit.

Well I know this aint gonna happen but why not remove RK from game and reduce the damage of all turrets by 20% or inc Hull armour by 15%?

Then keep shooting a mammy m4 with 50 protec healed by isida for eternity ...  :ph34r:

 

 

I honestly think that hammer with the alteration is already good enough to do it and overcome the RK healings

Yes the only counter drug is "Wolves". If you don't get wolves you should not play in war. Wolves will show how dominant they are. All hail the wolves

Jokes aside, I don't think there is a need for this. It's hard enough to survive one of those limited ammo turrets as it is, coming up with a counter would make said turrets even deadlier. Hammer I don't know, but I suppose it can do well. Not sure what a counter would be though - a supply that, upon activation, reverses an opponent's Repair activation, potentially insta-killing him? Yeah....right.

Make the Repair Kit take longer to repair and any damage received after RK is activated will IMMEDIATELY stop the repair. In the same breath, this would buff Firebird without having to change any of its parameters.

Boy Tanki would like this.. perhaps we should microupgrade this new supply and let players microupgrade the microupgrades of it aswell!
Actually just make the repair kit extremely overpowered again but have the option to buy this counter-medkit. Make the counter medkit's effect weak by default but the fully microupgraded overpowered. Seems we have sorted out the possible balance issue aswell, neat-o!

Pretty sure this already happens.  Even overheating Vulcan's... no?

Hammer shoots slow so it isn't as good at disrupting RK as, say Smoky. OTOH Smoky cannot just blow away 2/3s of a mammoth in one shot.

 

Different turrets have different strengths and weaknesses.  The stated reason is not a problem it is an intended feature.
