Why are all the possible territories each faction can capture all captured?? This ain't like the previous War and makes no sense why voting for territories to attack is even necessary...

mdr, you are right it's not the same war as last time, this new war is about DOMINATION. The more territories you hold the more likely you win the war.

Voting allow you to distribute your faction forces on the map, to specific areas for attacking and defending as well. So be careful what you vote for, as a faction you can spread an attack on different territories (like turn 1 and 2) or focus on attacking one specific territory that has a lot of Value (the ones in the centres).

Same for defence, you can spread the defensive forces on several territories or just one. Most likely the later would be for high value territories.

Can you help me understand how Victory points are counted?

We captured 6 territories yesterday but have only 1 victory point. Is it like that the territory with most "stars" only get counted for VP? If that is the case then the war will take a lot of time

Hi everyone, there was a problem with containers, Tanki knows about it and they're fixing it. Please spread the info to your factions and your friends, we'll deliver more news when we have it.

That's the current situation. Just sit tight and be patient, you'll have your containers eventually.

I have been waiting to join the War effort because I knew it was going to be a Cluster F just like everything Tanki does...or actually doesn't do I guess would be more appropriate.

So other than containers not being delivered, is the site working OK?  Can you vote effectively and are stars being credited properly yet?

No it it means 11495 stars has been collected by wolves , all those who voted for it. These stars don't include the people having 1-4 stars and once it reaches 5 stars , all stars are added at once

That's what I thought because of the little star next to the number.

Another question:

When two enemies are fighting for one territory, what makes one faction win? Only the number of Stars? or something else?

I'm asking this because this part of the announcement is not very clear...

This way, each faction can attack and defend many territories, and the result of each battle for the territory will be determined by player participation and the number of players who voted for the territory.

Does player participation mean Stars earned?

And why mention number of players if only Stars are important?

Can i ask you ?

So the factions can capture more than one territory per round  ? not like the last war the most voted territory will be captured ?

It's going to take a while to explain it all, so I will just tell about the first 2 turns. The basics is however simple, hold one territory for one full turn and it gives you VP on the start of the next turn. For example at the start all factions had and hold the capital (worth 1VP) for one turn. So at start of turn 2 we got 1 x 1 VP = 1 VP.

Now we captured 6 new territories (worth 1 VP each), if we hold them for this turn 2 they will provide + 6  x 1 VP at start of Turn 3. Also you still hold the capital that bring also 1 VP. So in fact you hold 7 territories (1 VP each) on turn 2 => 7 x 1VP = 7 VP.

Start of Turn 2 = 1VP

Start of Turn 3 = 1VP + 7VP = 8 VP in totals.

Now try to do with the next turn - we should have taken 9 new territories (3 worth 3 VP and 6 worth 1 VP).

Yes, as many territories as that faction has chosen to attack.

Struggle will begin when several factions attack same areas.

This is a helpful description...the concept is actually quite interesting

Combined number of stars earned by players who voted for that territory in Faction 1 vs Faction 2.

Thanks! I thought it was like attacking and capturing the territories give us victory points , but we need to hold the territories and not just attack.

Developers continue to work on the site,

I like the site , it takes less than 10 seconds to update stars!
