This is a helpful description...the concept is actually quite interesting

It is the same cumuli concept with the War resources (Data and Fuel) - but it was not properly understood by many players during last war - leading to strange voting decision - fortunately we still won it :D

How much turns will be in the war ?

The players will decide how quickly the War will be won.

Internal predictions and event balance are 2 or 3 weeks.

We don't have the information on specific criteria, but actively playing in battles should always land you 1 star.

From personal experience, this means to start scoring from the moment you join and till the end of the battles.

Matchmaker relies on keeping battles full to keep teams even.  So if someone drops out (for whatever reason) matchmaker will fill that empty slot - even if battle is > 1/2 over.

Now if players are dropped into a game in progress (usually on losing team) they might not have a chance to meet the threshold.  We've seen reports on this numerous times - and has happened to me.

Why would any player stay in the battle if dropped in already in progress, when there's a significant chance they won't meet the threshold?

This can't be good for match-Maker.
