I've witnessed some cases where there's a tanker that blocks the path of the flag carrier, and the flag carrier does not want to drop the flag for the player blocking them so pushes back, and an enemy destroys them both and returns the flag. In this case, the blocker would have just ruined the whole thing. It can prevent the whole team from winning in some cases. It's happened to me too and I think something has to be done. There should be a sensor that detects if a tank is pushing the flag carrier and the flag carrier is pushing back. If this is true, the sensor would then wait 5 seconds. If the tanks are still shoving at each other, the pusher is automatically driven back and self-destructed. This would let the flag carrier return to the base and capture the flag without his teammates trying to stop him. A sensor would stop the unnecessary problems that occur from pushing the flag carrier.

It feels too complicated for such a problem. 5 seconds is a very long time (in the context of game speed). A flag carrier should pay attention to his surroundings, meaning he should be able to spot someone trying to block his path from a good distance, and get out of their way, and even of they do collide, the best solution is simply to drive backwards while pressing left or right at the same time, this method will help you get past the saboteur much faster than having to wait 5 seconds.

 

Then, after you successfully cap (or fail), you can report the player using the /vote command or record them and post it in game violators section on the forum (make sure to read the rules of posting there first).

I wish you guys would realize that it's not all about punishing players, it's more of rewarding players who deserve it. This game takes WAY TOO DAMN LONG to get to Legend, players want to get the EXP they deserve, they don't care about the mults as long as they get EXP.

Why do you need to get to Legend? Practically all M3 equipment you need unlocks at Marshal.

It's basically Game Over and 'You Win' at legend. That's the only reason why I'm still here. To finish what I started.

Infinite pushing power -> noone can push you from the GB drop zone you just need to take care of the HP

Wait... That is great! Gold diggers would finally go for flags to have infinite pushing power to catch more golds xD

 

Better to go for flags than to mult, right?

That's pretty.... .... optimistic.  :huh:

 

Carrier is usually more worried about the tank behind them trying to kill them.  Not their own team-mates.  :wacko:

When you're carrying the flag, you don't sit there and argue about the path you want to take. I don't know of any flag standards that are at the end of dead end tunnels. Just go around, take a different path, you have a better chance of capping.
