Tankers!
 
The War has entered its final stage, and Turn 9 is now over. Factions continue to invade enemy regions, let’s recap what territories changed hands in the last 24 hours:
 
  • Bears captured Osa, Kolhoz, Subway, Forest, Island, Pass and Barda;
  • Lions captured Tribute, Berlin and Bridges;
  • Wolves captured Solikamsk, Dusseldorf, Monte Carlo, Cologne, Scope, Fort Knox and Serpuhov.

Lions are still in the first place in the event and right after them are Bears with Wolves closing the competition.
 
Here’re Victory Points for the turn:
 
  • Bears -- 192 points;
  • Lions -- 252 points;
  • Wolves -- 168 points.
 
Will the factions remain on the same positions tomorrow or the placement will suddenly change? Let’s find out soon!

=== TURN 8 ===

During the weekend we saw intense fighting for territories and the War map was constantly changing the balance of power in regions, which means the weekend was well spent!
 
Let’s recap Turn 8:
 
  • Bears captured Monte Carlo, Molotov and Berlin;
  • Lions captured Osa, Rio, Zone and Serpuhov;
  • Wolves captured Kolhoz, Cross, Siege, Pass, Parma, Novel, Ping-Pong, Wave, Bobruisk, Bridges and Esplanade.

Lions are leading in Victory Points and their advance is relentless -- you can clearly see it on the half of the War map.
 
Here’re the results:
 
  • Bears -- 177 points;
  • Lions -- 189 points;
  • Wolves -- 141 points.
 
Also, three enclaves have been formed on the map. Berlin and Valley, owned by the Bears, are now completely surrounded by enemy territories. Kolhoz, which is held by Wolves, has also separated from other territories of the faction.
 
What are your predictions for the current turn? Will the Lions continue their regional domination? Will the Bears repel the invaders and seize the leadership once again? And will the Wolves summon all their strength for the best comeback in War history?

Factions continue to fight for supremacy in the War, and no side is easing up the pressure.
 
Turn 7 is now complete, and this means it’s time to recount the events of the last game day.
 
In short:

  • Bears captured Cross, Pass, Parma, Novel, Ping-Pong, Valley, Wave, Bobruisk, Bridges and Esplanade;
  • Lions captured Scope, Fort Knox, Highways, Kungur, Island, Forest, Subway and Hill.
  • Wolves captured Garder, Molotov and Monte Carlo.

The final score at the end of the turn:

  • Bears — 141 victory points;
  • Lions — 133 victory points;
  • Wolves — 128 victory points.

Participate in the War, come up with team strategies on the Forum and in the game chat of the War and don’t forget, the more active you play and the more stars you earn, the higher is your chance to get into Top-10 and get the unique Legacy-skin set.

The War news are ramping up, as it’s already Turn 6! Let’s check what has changed on the War map and which territories each of the factions captured.

  • Bears captured Deck-9, Garder;
  • Lions captured Sandbox, Sandal, Rift, Cologne, Atra, Arena, Massacre and Desert.
  • Wolves captured Valley, Parma, Novel, Pass and Cross.

Massive comeback from Lions and solid advance from Wolves!
 
The final score at the end of the turn:

  • Bears — 115 victory points;
  • Lions — 89 victory points;
  • Wolves — 93 victory points.

Participate in the War, always be active in battles to earn stars (and don’t forget to vote and confirm your choice on the site) and may the strongest faction win!

=== TURN 5 ===

 

Tankers!
 
The War in Tanki Online is heating up, and Turn 5 ended earlier today. How it went and what changes happened on the War map we’ll tell you right now.
 
Each faction was successful in capturing one Vault. Bears got Desert, Lions -- Future, and Wolves -- Gravity. All participants, who has chosen to attack the territory, already got 15 containers in addition to the star rewards. No enemy territories were captured, as main forces were occupied with fighting for the Vaults.
 
And regarding the Victory Points, there’s now a leader in the War: Bears faction at the end of turn 5 now have 72 VPs. Second place currently goes to the Wolves, with 61 point and on the third place are Lions with 59.
 
What comes next? Now factions will need to fight each other, since no neutral territories are left. Will the Bears hold the leadership or pass it to another faction? We’ll know tomorrow!
 
Participate in the War, play actively in battles and earn stars (and don’t forget to vote and confirm your choice on the site). Player contribution is what leads the faction to victory!

Tankers!
 
The War in Tanki Online continues, and the third turn is now complete. Let’s check the results.
 
All 3 factions continue their expansion on all fronts. Lions, Bears and Wolves have captured the territories directly connected to theirs, and in same as in the last turn the decisions were made by each faction to ensure the victory is within reach.
 
At this moment none of the factions in the War managed to capture enemy territories, but all factions are now facing the enemy borders, and the precious Vaults. If a faction will capture one of the Vaults, then all of its participants that have chosen to attach the Vault region will get 15 containers.
 
IMPORTANT: The bonus is a one-time chance, meaning the territory will earn containers only to the faction players that capture it first.
 
Of course, next turn Vaults will become the main points of many heated battles.
 
And here’re the territories that were captured in the third turn:

  • Bears — Massacre, Arena, Zone, Valley, Novel, Pass and Cross;
  • Lions — Polygon, Courage, Canyon, Silence and Chernobyl;
  • Wolves — Sandbox, Sandal, Kungur, Ping-Pong and Factory.

This way, Bears managed to capture 3 territories more than Lions and Wolves.
 
All sides of the conflict are still going head to head in Victory Points. Bears, Lions and Wolves all have 27 VPs right now. How will the situation change after the 4th turn?
 
Participate in the War, play actively in battles and earn stars (and don’t forget to vote and confirm your choice on the site). Each player can lead their faction to victory!

The second turn is now over, let’s see what has changed on the War map:

All 3 factions continue their expansion in all directions. Bears, Wolves and Lions have captured the surrounding territories, good job!
 
Now, the details:

  • Bears have captured Osa, Subway, Forest, Atra, Rio, Parma, Siege, Monte Carlo and Kolhoz;
  • Lions have captured Skylark, Year 2042, Barda, Berlin, Iran, Brest, Boombox, Magadan and Station;
  • Wolves have captured Edinburgh, Bobruisk, Deck-9, Wave, Garder, Cologne, Rift, Highways and Serpuhov.

First 2 turns of the War were peaceful -- factions expanded their territories by capturing neutral regions. At this moment all factions have the equal number of Victory Points -- 8.
 
But in the third turn the situation can change completely -- the first conflicts can already be seen on the War map as factions approach each other’s borders and will likely want to strike at the free real estate of the enemy territory. Also, soon the most profitable territories of the central region will be fought for, and then can earn the most number of Victory Points.
 
This time the active participation of faction players will play a key role in the War. Who will become the first leader?
 
Join the War, earn stars (but don’t forget to vote and confirm your choice on the War site first), discuss victory strategies in the united War Room and lead your faction to Victory!

The “War: Domination” event has started!
 
The first turn is now over, and this means it’s time to recap the results and tell you about the first moves of each of the factions in the conflict.
 
In the first turn, all 3 factions made the right strategic call -- to capture neutral territories surrounding their Capitals:

  • Bears -- Solikamsk, Tribute, Red Alert, Island, Molotov and Dusseldorf;
  • Lions -- Magistral, Duality, Highland, Duel, Gubakha and Camp;
  • Wolves -- Fort Knox, Stadium, Farm, Esplanade, Bridges and Scope.

At the end of turn 1 all factions earned 1 Victory Point. Players who actively participated in the event and earned stars have already received containers as rewards.
 
Also, players who bought the Distributor paint *before* 16:00 UTC on July 30th and played the game between 07:00 UTC and 16:00 UTC on July 30th, but didn’t earn 5 stars or didn’t vote on the War site during the first turn will get 3 containers!
 
We have made this decision based on your feedback and because on the first day the War site didn’t work as intended, many players couldn’t authorize on the site and vote to attack and defend territories. These players will get 3 containers in the next several hours.
 
And the War will soon start heating up! What do you think, where will the factions go? Will all 3 aim for the central territories that earn more Victory Points or dash for the Vaults?
 
Join the War, earn stars (but don’t forget to first vote and confirm your choice on the site), and discuss faction strategies in the special Forum sections and in-game chat channels.

Cool! I hope teams start to go for vaults because you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning the war but it's much easier to get the vault.

I honestly think that the factions will have to choose either go for containers only aka "Vault" or for win aka "center territories"

The next couple turns will show that probably xP

vaults are 1 time territories can be won later

 

All vaults will captured on turn 4 , so only day you can capture vaults is day 4. Remember you don't get containers from vault even if your faction captures it but you didn't vote.

Shame on you Tanki. You brought many players on day one of the war confession and frustration.

You could have tested this all before going live. Shame on you disappointing many players like you always do. 

What made it worse was that you every time wrote, about an hour it will be fixed, again and again you make promises but could not keep. Players wasted almost hole day to play the war but it was not possible. You give 3 containers like a candy to a child so he/she does not cry anymore.....thats how you see us...shame on you

So I spent tewice as much time as I should have t get teh 5 stars and I get no compensatoinm for the FUBAR that was turn 1?  In many case I warned ~10 stars because the site a snot showing ones I had earned.  I wasted jours due to TO's incompetence and REFUSAL to announce a policy AHEAD of time.  \

 

Everyone who played turn 1 should have gotten 2x earned containers not in my case NO compensation.

 

TO should have COMMUNICATED with us.

 

These jerks will never get a dime out of me. That is my only way to fight back.

I really don't understand the star distribution. I can win a game with no stars at all. I can loose and win stars. It doesn't make sense at all. I just won a game and none of my teammembers got stars. They went to the number 1,2 and 3 of the losing team! Huh? Are they paying premiums? Or is it Yet Another Bug? Spend 2 hours today and got not a single star... It sucks...  :blush:  :excl:

Firstly, good decision to give 3 containers to players who suffered and got frustrated. Congratulations to them.

 

However, the fact is everyone went through same frustration and suffering. Just that they(those who did not vote or earned 5 stars) gave up and many like me did not give up and waited prolonged hours and continued to play and earned stars after glitches got settled.  So are you punishing this enthusiasm and attitude towards TO?

 

In that Point of view, I think everyone should get 3 containers extra as compensation, not just few. 

I, for one, had to stay up almost all night just to vote and earn 5 stars. First you said in 1 hour site will be fixed, then you said 1 to 1.5 hours and finally it went to "will be fixed later".

 

 

We have made this decision based on your feedback

I call this BS. If you really read the feedback, the majority consensus was to compensate everyone.

Test? In Russia no test. Build rocket. Put Cosmonaut in rocket. Launch rocket to space.  Snap fingers. Remember next time give cosmonaut oxygen supply.
