CTF is off balance

I mostly used to play CTF and was most of the time at top 3 position.  Now they've changed the game so that you get 100 points per flag capture (earlier 50 points).   It has dropped my ranking in battles because I mostly play mid-field and defense.  I also used my wasp/fire combo successfully to get 2-4 enemies focusing on me while rest of the team could capture flags.   So now you say that only attack is valuable for the team?   Many times defense is neglected by the team or they "defend" base from far away, which does not help at all when base is full of enemy.

 

From now on I will focus on TDM.

The entire game is off balance. Games are often decided in the first few seconds as if you're on the weaker side you have no chance and half your team will run.

 

OP Freeze and magnum M4 everywhere, backed up by endless repair kits, overdrive, droids, personal healers...

 

Back in the day you chose a turret to reflect your style of play but now some turrets are so ridiculously and obviously OP. One of the reasons why many quit the game.

 

TDM is no different. If you're on the weaker team you're toast.

I agree, but at least there is no 100 point for flag indifference in TDM.

I agree that CTF is off balance. What to do with this? Buff Shaft, Railgun and Isida, nerf Thunder and Magnum and nerf modules.

 

What would happen? More campers, less drugging noobs, less spawn camping. It would be harder to cap flags so no one would be able to cap 7 flags in 10 minutes.

High points for flags also encourages sabotage. They'll block you, try to flip you and even not kill the enemy targeting you so they can pick up the flag after you die. How to record such violations for more than 5 minutes in a 10 minute battle?
