This game is dying and devs do nothing

Only 15-60 people are online the forum at any time, used to be more than 100

 

All servers were combined into one and the server can't even reach full capacity, there used to be multiple full servers

 

Unbalanced gameplay where the winners are who pay more, no who plays better

 

The number of games have declined by 5 to 6 times

 

Every update is geared towards buying with real cash, meaning the owners are trying to milk the last drops of cash

 

All famous youtubers, such as jekamx, oufa, aflaploid, portes, etc. quit except Claudiu. I think he quit though because he hasn't played recently and uploaded videos in a month

 

Esports tournaments can't muster even 15 clans anymore from all communities, used to be way more, especially because Starladder pulled out and there isn't anymore money to win

 

EN community can't even find enough clans to fill their dumb leagues

 

Browser games have their heyday

Tanki had its own, the pay2win model they have is good for the short term financial gain but long term it just won't sustain like League or Runescape might have, so that's why we see it in the decline now

I also think the new method hurt the game. The devs need to release a new big update, something that will bring many players (old/new) back to the game. I'd love to see more than 100k players online on daily basis as in 2015. :)

All I can say about that is - T.O is dead. If you want to play in a good eSports , I highly recommend you to play T.X. It will have a great eSports.

Why do you disagree? do you agree that magnum is good for the game? It making some maps unfun to play? Making modules extremely expensive? that they don't make updates for the f2p but for the p2w like drones and containers? that you can get m3 freeze in warrant officer 2?

Magnum and freeze deserve a nerf, I get it but still, the game is pretty much fun, still.

Nerf modules, increase smart cooldowns, nerf Magnum and Thunder, rebalance Smoky, buff Shaft, Isida, Striker and Rail and this game will be much better for sure.

I disagree with the OP, and anyone who says this game is dead.

 

Although, I do agree that the active numbers are pretty less, and this game IN ITS CURRENT STATE (and near 0 bugs) with some advertising will be alive and kicking $$$ into AP's wallet.

 

Note to devs: Please just stop the updates for like 2 months and take ALL your time to fix the bugs. That much time won't hurt your economy, rather, will result in a less frustrating gameplay.

And that something would likely be a console version of TO. Many would love to be able to play it on their PlayStation or Xbox.

Someone spending $400 on a console, and another $400 (together $800) for a nice TV won't be playing Tanki Online, unless they are one of those who think defending your Capital in the current edition of War is a good strategy.

Nope, I am on forums since 2015 (back then with this => @player_2015_tanker) and have seen such numbers every other day.

 

Its just on crazy as heck events that the numbers shoot up.

Ok lets agree the game is dying. But what's the reason behind it?

 

A game "dies" because

• Bad updates
• Players leaving the game.. DUH..
• It's P2W
• Decisions in haste.
• Players whining for more.

 

Now, if we notice the above points we can see that these all happened in tanki. But the game is still on and has 19 - 20 k players everyday and that's just more than enough. Also remember we asked for these updates in the I & S section. Premium acc, rebalances (whining about the tank being OP etc.). Now we have to live with it. Only another rebalance can save this game but also has a high risk of killing it. At this point we can't do anything but stop demanding more and just enjoying it as how it is. Also these efforts of yours are just vain or wait it can kill the game more. I mean we saw many people posting the same thing again and again. Devs are trying to make the game as good as possible on your passive demand but, in haste. And hence we can now see you, and others whining.
