This game is dying and devs do nothing

What is your main point about having more or less people online on forums? Even if it used to be 100-200 online back in 2012-2014, that did nothing to me. People browse but most of them don't post because they prefer not to or have nothing to say. Never seen anybody butt-hurt about how many people are online on the forum.

Only 15-60 people are online the forum at any time, used to be more than 100

All servers were combined into one and the server can't even reach full capacity, there used to be multiple full servers

Unbalanced gameplay where the winners are who pay more, no who plays better

The number of games have declined by 5 to 6 times

Every update is geared towards buying with real cash, meaning the owners are trying to milk the last drops of cash

All famous youtubers, such as jekamx, oufa, aflaploid, portes, etc. quit except Claudiu. I think he quit though because he hasn't played recently and uploaded videos in a month

Esports tournaments can't muster even 15 clans anymore from all communities, used to be way more, especially because Starladder pulled out and there isn't anymore money to win

EN community can't even find enough clans to fill their dumb leagues

Browser games have their heyday

Tanki had its own, the pay2win model they have is good for the short term financial gain but long term it just won't sustain like League or Runescape might have, so that's why we see it in the decline now

I could go about this all the day...

My man, you are a second lieutenant. You don't know this game well enough. I am a free-2-play player and I could tell you all sorts of things about this game, because right now all your points are, no offense, nothing but stupid. I got where I am without spending a single cent.

The game is waayyyy easier now than, like, let's say 4 years ago. If it wasn't pay to win, me, or by the sounds of it, you, wouldn't be able to play this game. It's easier than ever to get crystals. MUCH EASIER. You can't complain because you experienced nothing of what I saw.

I agree wholeheartedly. Even the days of crystal boxes weren't so good as they are now. Missions, containers (of which the War gives an insane amount, and I'm thankful for it), better protections (seriously - paint protections were meh, not a very good system if you ask me), easily available supplies, no P2W kits, better MUs, etc.

And devs doing nothing? Milking cash? HTML5, overdrives, lots o' new paints, these things don't come cheap. They aren't pay to win either.

EDIT though: he joined in 2015.

I strongly agree with this. When I log into this acc I have only M3.11 Railgun and Viking. All other is M3.0, M2 or M1. I ALWAYS, but i really mean ALWAYS! enter battles and play against Legends. They all have module against Railgun, have all 3 supplies active at any time, have drones, M4 tanks... I barely do 100 Score per battle. Yet, on alt acc , I collect containers from new year and now I have 500k crystals and 3 M3s (got 1m crystals in War container) . I have a lot of drugs, and always end up 1st in JGR even I am rarely JGR. I would be happy if and ONLY if I could choose where will I play (in what battles). That could be easily done if you just make list of MMS battles, next to PRO battle list. But that's too hard for devs and they will say that it destroys whole purpose of the MMS.

They fixed waiting time (even now i end up waiting several minutes), but they lost a LOT of players, as topic maker said. Is fall from 100k players to 20k players good? I don't think so

Overdrive -> faster reload if you kill more, easier if you drug.

Paints -> What's the point? You can have only 1, but they don't want to implement Paint Slideshow so there actually is a reason to buy them.

Missions -> You could've get more crystals via Blue Boxes.

Containers -> Thanks for them in weekly chain, but if you buy them on Recruit, you can be a boss.

P2W kits -> Buy kit in garage and MU it same day to next modification.

If you did not know, crystal boxes used to drop (mostly) in the value of 10.

With this fund distribution, and other stuff, would you really abandon a WHOLE battle just to catch 10 crystals?

I hate this kinda topics but I have to agree, yes the devs don't care about the game and its reputation anymore, there is a reason why they've released so many events with such daily loots (Such as the current war) to attract more players but still. The number won't raise anymore, the constant playerbase is going to die once every single player hates a certain update.

Can we please stop with the "Tanki is dying" topics? This has been discussed and explained at least once a month for the past 4 years, whenever someone posts a topic like this.

Here's some facts. Tanki is becoming less popular because:

  • Old players are naturally leaving (very few people play the same thing for 5 years straight)
  • The game and its style is no longer a novelty, so it doesn't cause that much interest
  • There are much better, more modern MMOs with similar gameplay out there.
  • Devs stopped (or greatly reduced) advertising for Tanki, so very few new players are coming in
  • Fewer new players are joining than old players leaving, resulting in a net decline of player numbers

If you have anything specific that you want to complain about, please post in the Complaint Book. Yes, Tanki may be "dying", but it's still very much alive, so let's enjoy it while we can.

Closed.
