Hunter M0 Smoky M0 - Infection mode

Basically there are 2 teams. At the beginning, one team has only one player (who starts off "infected") and he/she is forced to use hunter smoky m0 for the entire match. His/her job is to kill non-infected players (everyone on the other team). When someone is infected (killed by a m0 hunter smoky), when they respawn, they are forced to use m0 hunter smoky for the rest of the match and they also change teams. Then, it's their job to infect their former teammates. Game ends when everyone is infected or when the counter stops. 

 

 

It's DM among those in the non-infected team (using their preferred combo). To incite more action, they are supposed to kill everyone (including "teammates") and get points. If you are non-infected and you are killed by a non-infected player, you are still non-infected. 

 

Infected players cannot kill other infected players.

 

The winner is the guy who gets the most points, not the last man standing. 

 

How points are scored:

 

+10 points if you are non-infected and you kill a non-infected player

+3 points if you are non-infected and you kill an infected player

+30 points if you are infected and you kill a non-infected player

+20 points if you are non-infected and someone else becomes infected (basically points for surviving longer than someone else)

+50 points for free if you are the original infected player (basically you are infected by the RNG at the beginning of the match)

 

 

More Specifics (for balance and enjoyment of the mode):

1. Infected Players overdrive at x5 (tell me if this is too much/little) the speed of a regular Overdrive. 

 

2. Their Overdrive shares all supplies with all nearby infected players and him/herself (like current OD) and makes their smoky have a 100% critical shot rate for 20 seconds. 

 

3. Infected Players will be given 100% protection against Mines to ensure hiding in the corner with mines cannot be used. 

 

4. Infected Players cannot be one shotted. If they were to be 1-shotted, they will remain on 1 health.

Idea is interesting, but you really have to change the specifics. No one wants to play with an M0 combo against M4s. Yes, I get that it should be a challenge to get a kill, but it's like playing with a normal tank when everyone is Juggernaut. Not much fun - you just have to hope you get lucky and get the kill.

OK, I just added a bunch of new features for the Infected Tank that are to buff the tank and make the game mode seem more possible for infected players to succeed. Tell me what you think.

Seems much better now. By the way, did you happen to get the idea for this mode from Garry's Mod TTT game mode?

No. As a matter of fact, I've never played Garry's Mod before... this is kind of going off topic, but do you think the game is worth spending money on and playing?

No. As a matter of fact, I've never played Garry's Mod before... this is kind of going off topic, but do you think the game is worth spending money on and playing?

If you're talking about G-mod, then I have no idea. I like watching videos of it, but the game itself doesn't seem particularly appealing to me.

ok but like i changed away from that combo for a reason.

It's good but maybe there should be a required combo to join, like the players being hunted have to use Wasp and CANNOT use Isida, seeing as they could just all heal each other and the infected would just have a ruined d/l. Maybe disallow repair drops too or make drops only available to the Infected. This mode also poses the problem of the infected leaving, in which case you're left with a group of people playing with their teammates with nothing to do.

 

IDK, I think it's a good idea in theory but it might work better as a PRO-only mode than a normal mode with all the alterations it needs.

Its better to become an infected juggernaut tank and deal damage by infecting other tanks in juggernaut mode (only).

Which makes the game pointless and way too easy for infected players.
