Keep stars system after the war but replace them with something else

so i quite like the stars system as they encourage players to continue fighting even when they are losing so they can get more stars at the end of the battle... also everyone fights as hard as they can to get more stars in that battle...  what a pity they'll be gone after the war...

so i suggest that after the war ends we replace the stars to something else... before i give examples i want to make sure you understand i am not trying to get more rewards so i will first explain that whatever bonus rewards that will be replace the stars will be compensated back to the economy by reduction of battle fund or mission or mission chain rewards.. so bonus rewards.. maybe after the war replace stars with batteries or drugs? or maybe 1 star means 10% bonus battle fund? so 3 stars means 30% more?

or maybe make it such that you need a certain amount of stars done to be able to claim your mission chain reward?

whatever, the stars system is good so just keep it, but replace stars with something else to encourage players to fight harder (and drug more which is good for the game)

of course the stars system does have it's flaws... like the minimum 100 score to get a star, this is not fair for those who get sent to a battle right before it ends so... make it such that you have to earn at least 30 score for every minute you're in the battle..

I was about to post this idea xD, but here you go. Let's say for exemple: 

1000 stars= Paint from the shop. 

1500 stars= legendary paint.

2500 stars= XT skin.

So, we're turning this into like a new X-Crystals from TX? Not bad. Just please make it so that I can always earn them from battles like in the system today. 

 

You should be able to go into the shop and purchase Stars and the EZ Stars pass (probably like 30 days pass) after this and they should be able to pop out of containers.

War: Domination caused implementation of a temporary system where we could earn stars and get containers . However the current system disrupts game economy and hence can be used only for special events like War.

 

But if the number of containers are reduced* it can stay in the game.

 

This will be a nice feature because players won't be able to farm supplies and crystals easily. And players who play more will be rewarded more.

 

Stars :

5-15 -> 1 Container

15-25 -> 2 Containers

25+ -> 3 Containers.

 

Some might think that 3 containers per day is too much compared to the 4 containers per week we get right now, BUT for those containers you need to play a lot . An average tanker will mostly get 5-8 containers a week.

 

What do you think about this idea? Will it still disrupt the game balance?

I am removing Daily Missions and Weekly chains for that . No other benefit. 

(You get 4 containers weekly for playing nothing but you are saying 50 stars for 1 container)

daily missions and weekly chains are great, no need to remove them. i prefer them way more much than the star system.

 

also , your excuse is "for playing nothing".

you already know if you could get 3 containers daily you would grind the hell out of that to get 21 containers weekly,which is insane, i feel like war is already screwing the economy up for a month or two,now this?

atleast with daily missions you barely get any containers, less than 1 a day compared to 1 a day for playing 30-50 mins daily

we can easily make a cuple hundred stars in 1 day with the easy stars pass -_-

Then good luck having players in regular battles.  I play in regular battles for the weekly/daily mission rewards.

 

You remove that and people will move to Pro-battles (me for one) or just stop playing outright.

 

This would drive a nail into Match-Makers coffin.

And most players do 15 stars(I have seen in war) .

Stars can be earned in Matchmaking battles only. And Getting 1 or 2 containers per day is much better.

No, if you take away Daily Missions you are taking away my only source for drugs.

I can get my weekly chain completed in 12 battles, and end up with more rewards.  And still have a life.

The Containers value can change , it was an example. What I want is players who play more get better rewards than those who play less. Current system makes players who play less get special advantage. 

Just leave it. I came here just for War. 

I will play TX because in TX  who plays more gets more.

Players who play more already get more rewards.  :rolleyes:

 

And what "special advantage" do players who play less get? 

I seriously want to know, because then maybe I will play even less than I do now.

 

LOL... then why are you making suggestions if you don't even plan on playing?

Stop trying to make this game T-X.  It sux.

I complete my missions daily and stop playing -> Good experience to crystal ratio (crystals from missions included) , supplies from missions

I complete my missions daily and play for more 3 hours -> Bad experience to crystal ratio (crystals from missions included) and supplies from missions

 

Play less and you will rank slowly but still have many crystals and supplies

Play more and you will rank up quick without enough crystals and supplies

What more rewards do players get for playing more?

Play less and you will rank slowly but still have many crystals and supplies

Play more and you will rank up quick without enough crystals and supplies

You can complete more daily missions daily - many "casual players" complete 1 mission.  So that's up to 2 more missions per day for extra rewards.

 

You get more battle funds - since you play in more battles.

No one forces anyone to play like a "no-lifer".  Your choice.

My alternate account is playing more recently because I want to rank up for next sale.  My choice.

 

But you suggest a total overhaul of the rewards system just so "casual" players would get less rewards than they do now...you are surprised the idea is not embraced?

 

Players playing TO don't want TO to become T-X.  If we want that we would just... play T-X.

I hate stars.  No offense, but I just can't earn them.  Not enough time.

No one cares. \_( :/)_/

 


 

Stars to be earned before you get a reward is just too much in this idea.

I suggest you to keep the stars from war because it can help tanki with many ways. Some examples are:

 

1.1 Tanki became more popular and active these 10 days, due to the fact that people were trying to collect and contribute as much as possible to help their team to win.

 

1.2 Pro-battles became more active from players who were just doing their missions and then leaving.

 

2. People to become more efficient for the cause of War had to use their supplies, and i suppose many of them had to buy the supplies to do so.

 

3.1 The e-sports players and the players who are willing to attend to Tanki e-sports, during these past 10 days improved their knowledge and skills for many of e-sports formats.

 

3.2 To become more experienced, stars may be collected to Non-Pro battles, especially in clan trainings.

 

Stars and containers awards were 5stars-3containers, 15stars-5containers and 30 stars-10 containers. Maybe setting other targets like 50stars, 75 stars, 100 stars, will increase the interest.
