Matchmaking fixes, changes to PRO-battles

I would like to know the mystery of this...

 

 

Is it buyers against against non-buyers? Groups against randoms? And, why most of the time I end up with the noob team? Am I being put there to balance a Group or Buyers because of some rating? It's frustrating.

Avg is 20 secs no matter what but it take 1-2 minutes actually.  :lol:  :angry:

Absolutely agree. No sense to the battle list at all now. Or at least put map name before custom name

I was getting that a lot yesterday, but seems to have been fixed today? Waiting times back to what they were

New SANDBOX is atrocious. It is a TWINS paradise - very open, very flat, easy to manoeuvre and not easy to find strategic position if 2 or 3 twins dominating map. It is NOTHING LIKE the old Sandbox and even to say "the middle part of the map won’t change" (quoting initial announcement) is not strictly accurate as the zones around the Double Damage boxes on the centre platform have certainly been made larger and easier to get to. As with all the "improved" maps, they are easier for the large tanks with brute force weapons  :(

Player named battles in PRO

 

Long ago in Tanki Online you could give names to battles you create. Later the option was removed, but we remember, how much did you like coming up with creative names for your battles, and decided to return the feature to the game. Show that creativity in named battles!

 

IMPORTANT: battle names will be moderated, and authors of the names that violate Game Rules will be banned. And if you get banned, you won’t be able to make any more battles.

Bad update. Impossible to know what map and format a friend is playing in without actually clicking on the battle to check it, unless the name of it is unchanged. Moreover, it's just extra unnecessary work for moderators. This update helps towards nothing obvious and just causes an influx in violators, players begging for Gold boxes and others making seemingly romantic gestures for their online, underage wives.

Request to separate different language pro battles on different servers. Almost all the battles I see are in some weird russian language (i think). Its not fun.

Ok, I don't know this topic has been brought up yet, but by the looks of it, it has not. So recently Tanki released an update that you can choose a PRO battle name when you create one. It's all funny and creative. For me, I play Sandbox xp/bp quite often and now I can't really tell if a Sandbox is xp or xpbp or anything. It's also frustrating to find "sandbox" section when there is a lot of PRO battles created. Battles created in Russian is just a whole different story.

My proposal is that we should have  "switch" that we can turn it on and off. If you turn this on, you will see battles by how players named it. But if you don't have it on, you will see a battle name as it was before this update.

Almost every pro battle is written in Russian. That shows you tanki is almost totally dead these days outside of the hardcore players / enthusiasts.

I am having a lot of trouble joining battles the last week or so. I guess due to new matchmaking system ?

Average waiting time : always very short (a few seconds)

Real waiting time : +/- 1 minute

Trying to join almost always results in 'You've been removed from battle due to inactivity'

Am I the only one suffering from this ?

That problem is only from matchmaking or you actually can't join other maps in PRO battles as well?

 

Also, sometimes i have this problem (and i'm TO client user); and i usually fix it following these steps.

If not work; then you can also clear your cache either from TO client if you use it, or browser
