What makes me laugh is that it took like a month or so for the devs to realise that freeze was OP, where as Magnum has been out for like a year now? And it's been too OP since its release (damage wise) and the devs have not nerfed it once since its release  :mellow:

 

Not to mention when are turrets like Twins and Isida going to get a nerf and when are turrets like Vulcan and Smoky going to get a much needed buff?

Freeze nerf is good - only about a 10% nerf so it's still significantly stronger than it was before the change, but not OP like it was recently.

Firebird buff, remains to be seen but could be good.

New map is great!

Vulcan however needs a fix ASAP - Self - damage is now huge! With the firebird change as soon as Vulcan goes beyond overheat resistance it receives a huge amount of damage, and continuous damage is higher. Vulcan was already weak, needs fixed as soon as possible especially for Tankers who use light hulls.

A perhaps unintended consequence of the patch is that Vulcan, which was already one of the weakest turrets in TO has received a large nerf - it now receives massive self - damage after the Firebird change.

Before the patch if you went beyond the yellow - bar "overheat resistance" threshold for a few seconds if you needed to kill a target you received very little self - damage, now you receive a massive amount. When in the continuous fire mode the damage is absurdly high now.

This is a particular problem for light hulls, on my Hornet/Vulcan account you absolutely cannot go beyond the overheat resistance, or you might as well press self - destruct.

Some good balance changes, with a firebird buff (will have to see how strong it proves to be though), and a slight freeze nerf, but the Vulcan self - damage, for a turret which was already weak, needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

smoky XT looks really awesome!

Was tempted to buy it, but the pricing is too high:
you would get an XT turret AND hull for the same price before...

So nice try Tanki but I will try my luck and pass the offer.

I feel like tanki online is altering the mechanics and turrets and hulls too often, which makes us players hard to follow and make choices.

Also, nerfing freeze is an utter joke because the developers should have tested it before and notice its power.

I sincerely hope this will NOT happen again.

Please take consistency into consideration, developers.

It had come to my attention, and disappointment, that tanki online has become a profitable company rather than a gaming platform.

The price of XT skins are NOT acceptable.

Moreover, PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT ON THE FRIEND LIST BEACUSE IT IS RIDICULOUS TO PROHIBIT COMMUNICATION AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS.

The transfer of clan leader should be allowed. Take my clan 512 as an example. The current leader asd22tanker has long quitted playing the game, thus he is occupying a valuable space in the clan, Also, we can’t make changes in clan members. The transfer of clan leader should be allowed so that he can be replaced by active members. Also, the decision-making right (participating in tournaments) can be given to someone who is frequently online. Thank you.

Thanks for making firebird look like a joke.  My old M1 10/10 is now worth M3 and my new one is a puff of smoke.  Thanks for wasting all the 94600 crystals I spend MUing it.  50 damages at M0 is a joke.  Even smoky wins against it now!  And you decreased afterburn so we'll have to rely on it.  Amazing job!  Might I remind you if a freeze steals your thunder by cooling it.  Now it's a lowly candle fire compared to every other turret.  Great, I'll have to invest in isida or something else now.  A great thanks to all Tanki Devs!

I think I like the new Firebird. Looks like it's a bit stronger  :)

Actually Firebird is more weird growth so on my side of the table, it's weaker.

Please add medals achievements for Assault mode, Rugby and Juggernaut.

The meals are; earn experience and hours played in Assault, Rugby and Juggernaut modes. Please add them to the list of medals in achievements page.

Played an Assault battle as Red team on massacre.

 

We had a shaft that refused to move beyond that first little flat hill - the one 30 m from the red flag area.

 

Could not hit any strategic defenders from there.  But hey - I'll bet that shaft had a great K/D.  (we lost badly)

I'm convinced that shaft lovers also love to lose. Anything for a good K/D, I suppose.

Yeah, the Vulcan nerf is absurd. For a turret that is so weak already it really makes no sense. Please fix this!

Vulcan lost any use in the game when a ricochet can knock off its aim. The gyro is no longer a factor. It makes the Vulcan a totally sad turret. The whole original point to the Vulcan was the gyroscopic effect. Now, it is just a slow-motion shaft substitute. Not fun to play with, no potential for skill development. (Hell, most turrets are like that now, very little reward for actually developing skill. Smoky and rail, still, but not like they used to be.)

I like to shove the searing red hot end of my fast heating Vulcan right up their puckered, brown-eyed, Russian Jack-Holes.

The fact that they nerfed freeze and buffed firebird when firebird was already OP, like really OP. Freeze feels useless again, thanks for making me waste crystals on freeze. 

Dude, you are being sarcastic, right? Opposite day, maybe?

 

Or, perhaps, just wondering out loud, maybe, you just suck at freeze. Skilled freeze players are unbeatable at M3+ level. No use to the protection module either. One simply makes the freeze work harder before defeating you anyway. BTW, at midlevel, my (alt-account) M2 freeze is still fairly dominate. No complaint as a user, but plenty as a victim in my high-rank accounts.

I think Vulcan overheat should differ for different hull types, and that can be achieved with percentages, that means less damage to light hulls and more to heavy ones.

Why have all close range turrets been nerfed without this being announced? On Wiki Firebird, Freeze and Isida all have minimum damage range at 20, used to be 25. Not a needed change imo, and should have been announced if this was planned. Or is it just a Wiki error?
