batteries as mission rewards

I'm not interested in batteries either (not yet anyway), but I've got over 500 of them from containers on all three of my accounts (WO1 to WO5). I don't need to earn them from missions.

 

I often choose the easiest missions for time reasons (and bank them to claim on subsequent days if there's more than one) and a good reward is just a bonus (have a 1425 crystals for earning 200 crystals in CP mission today), so battery missions are no worse than supply missions for me. But I don't want the chance of getting crystal missions to be reduced.

Top 3 places= 3 batteries for a 1st Lt.. They are playing as if batteries are more precious than RKs, when they hand them out all the time in containers 50 at a time. I have gotten more 50B containers than 100RKs. Abbot now is when it would be nice to allow players to decide if they want valuable rewards or batteries.

It's because of the price; 300 crystals and yet they last one miserable minute.

You can't sustain drone usage without buying batteries yourself even with the updated missions.

 

This is a premium feature. Luckily drones aren't noticably more powerful than the standard supplies.. or I may have yet to encounter one using a fully upgraded drone. I think M4's are pretty rare currently.

Got another 2 battery missions today. 20 kills for 2 batteries and 150 crystals in RGB for 7 batteries.

It's ridiculous - and a result of Devs evaluating batteries at 300 crystals.  :lol:

Getting batteries from mission chain rewards and now from missions themselves will soon completely devalue the battery supply the same way every other supply is worthless (crystal cost, not effectiveness) now.

 

The only reason I can think of for Tanki to do this is to sell more Drones and in doing so milk players out of crystals for Drone micro-upgraded and real money for the crystals required to purchase those MUs.

I do have a drone , and I don't see why everyone doesn't , it only costs 20k and you can use the free batteries you get from containers and mission chains (and newly mission rewards) 

 

as I said , I don't think it's worth it at all , it's just not , you waste 10 batteries (at least) in a battle in order to get 2 or 3 in exchange ...

batteries will never be useless or cheap , drones use batteries constantly and they use them way too much , I don't know if that's balanced or not but it's the way it is , If you play 1 hour a day and keep your drone equipped , you use 60 batteries with no feeling that you used them whatsoever ...

 

they really should be renamed to "battery drains" instead of drones :)

Ok somehow tanki is giving x1 battery as a reward in mission, I've already tested the batteries, but whenever I join a battle with drone equipped, it uses a battery without even activating it, I mean, it's assault drone, it consumes 1 battery from me without even killing, as assault drone needs a kill to use the battery, so that 1 battery isn't even a reward xdd

I had like 200 batteries without drones.. xd, and if you want to get a drone, get assault, it's just the best and good for saving supplies
