Declined Buy new module modification for free when previous modifications are fully micro upgraded

Just like for turrets and hulls, modules should have a free modification that players can buy at their own rank when the player has finished micro upgrading the previous modification completely.

 

I have the Panther M1 protection module, which I have micro upgraded to 10/10 MU steps. The next modification for this protection module at my Legend rank is M3. The M3 modification should be free because I have completed 10/10 MU steps for M1 Panther module.

 

Please make completed MU steps for completed M0, M1, and M2 steps free like for MU steps for turrets and hulls.

As you can clearly see from the 3 images above, my Panther M1 module is micro upgraded to 10/10 MU, and its next modification available at my Legend rank should be free. Why do I have to buy M3 since I have 10/10 MU? That's not fair.

 

Please release an update to fix this issue.

You can only get the next modification of the module for free, so if you upgraded the M1 to 10/10, then you can get M2 for free, BUT since your rank allows you to buy M3, you can't get M2 and therefore can't take advantage of the 100% discount. This is mostly for your own good, because instead of wasting crystals on upgrading the M2 module (which can cost up to 750 000 crystals), you can just buy the M3 module for 125 000 crystals during the next 50% sale.

 

There is a warning about this issue on the wiki page about micro-upgrades: 
Attention! You can only get the next modification for free if you have not yet reached the unlock rank of the modification after it. If you micro-upgrade an M0 turret to 10/10 steps when your rank already allows you to buy M2, you will NOT be able to get the M2 upgrade for free. Be careful not to waste crystals.

i noticed some modules turned to m1 10/10 instead of fresh m2 and thats completely stupid and now i cant slowly upgrade them to m3

Something has to be done with this. Lots of players get 'M0/M1 trapped' so they can not micro-upgrade the hull/turret/module after getting M0 10/10 or M1 10/10.

 

Solution: When a player micro-upgrades M0 to 10/10, he should be given M1 for free even if he has M2/M3 rank and when he micro-upgrades M1 to 10/10, he should be given M2 for free even if he has M3 rank (Marshal+).

 

That means that if Legend has M0 hull/turret/module and wants to micro-upgrade it ALL THE WAY to M3, he should be able to do so because buying M2/M3 at once is is just too expensive.

 

I got 'M0 trapped' with Viking and Hunter, 2 best hulls in Tanki. They are M0 10/10 and I can not micro-upgrade it to M2 because I am Brigadier. I should be given M1 Viking and Hunter for free so I can continue my micro-upgrades.

That's a fair point, but I'm pretty sure that overall it's a better strategy to just save up for the M2.

My M1 Rico is just micro-upgrading to 10/10 so I will have M2 Rico tomorrow. My M1 Titan is 9/10 so it will also be M2 soon...

At first this seems as a joke, but if you think about it you could buy m2, and slowly MU it to m3. Devs just want to get money from you, so they DON'T want you to buy it slowly without using real money...

50% sale is very rare. For example half times i dont wait for sales and buy even without sales if have crystals, becaouse is very boring to wait months for something,  Its just a game i want buy something and play now, not after months. 

 

For this theme case i think if you have m2 and want mu to m3, final price should be lower than to buy directly m3. Maybe between 10-20% lower than final price of m3 , but lower, becaouse you need very time, even can speed up-this cost also very crystals.

 

Author is right in his case, he can`t get m2 just becaouse this feature is locked by ranks, this is really not fair. (i don`t see big benefit by doing this but he should have this choice)

It should be on players to decide do they want to spend crystals MUing or waiting 1 year for 50 % sale.

You can spend only 250k crystals MUing M2 to M3 (module) if you do not speed up. Also, you can pay 3 times more (750k, crystals) if you want to speed up upgrades. I don't really remember last 50% sale. I just hope that later this Aug, there will be Iron days or Tanker days or whatever it is and I hope sales will be 50%.

 

If you want to buy M3 when you have M2, you can save 250k crystals and get it automatically. But if someone wants to MU it, it will be fine, bcs if you pay (examples only) 15k crystals for step 2 and it takes 10 days to MU it, you will be able to get 35k crystals in that time to MU 3rd step. Plus you have 27% protection.

If players see "Declined" on the idea "Buy new module modification for free when previous modifications are fully micro upgraded" They assume devs are being unfair. When they see "Invalid", they assume that the topic owner has made a mistake - which they have.
