Kill streak announcements

In juggernaut, you can hear "First Kill" or "Domination." The other modes don't have this kind of thing. With this new feature, if a player gets lots of kills on a row without dying, their success is shown on screen Here's what the kill streaks will be.


Killing spree 5 kills
Killing frenzy 15 kills
Rampage 20 kills
Running riot 30 kills
Untouchable 50 kills
Invincible 100 kills
Inconceivable 200 kills

Pretty cool isn't it? It's gonna be like how Alex Lynch says it

There should definitely be an option to disable those notifications. That, or the notifications should be just text for everyone, while the sound only plays for the person getting the kill streak.

I don't think csgo has an option like that, i played it recently... maybe i just didn't get a streak cause im too nub? :C

It has, it has a command to disable it.

LOL it would be quite funny to just overdrive with some OP equipment and hear: Double kill, triple kill, quad kill, penta kill, hexa kill...

 

There should be also some rewards for kill streaks.

 

Double kill-1 crystal

Triple kill-2 crystals

Quad kill-3 crystals

Penta kill-5 crystals

Hexa kill-8 crystals

Hepta kill-13 crystals

Octa kill-21 crystals

 

Why 1,2,3,5,8,13,21 etc? These are the Fibonacci numbers xD

 

1+2=3 2+3=5 3+5=8 5+8=13 8+13=21

I don't think it should be based on Fibonacci numbers since that punishes the higher kill streak.  It should just be sequential numbers, but I like your names :)   Added crystals would be the best reward, but extra score would be good too.  Maybe at something like deca-kill you get a free container :)

I said this idea on the forum in 2013 but no one listened lol. Man do I wish this idea could be implemented back in the days, I would be such a legend.

I hope you guys know this is a joke.  There should not be any more noise added to the game.  JGN and RGB are bad enough already.  I like the idea of rewards for kill streaks but keep it quiet.

I am a Tanker who grinded out the game and worked hard to be what I am today, it is such a shame people beg for attention and crystals nowadays. You should play battles more than posting on the forum and then you will have a voice.

As in Tanki X, the sound is very satisfying and fun to hear. This could be an option which could be by default off in settings as an optional extra. As im sure many of you agree, for example the sound once an opposing team tank has been killed the sound it makes is addicting and pushes you to kill more people. This applies for the "Double kill" (whilst would probably be very repetitive so wouldnt be a great idea to implement)  ideas such as "5 kill streak" or "10 kill streak" in the X killed X menu in the top right of the display (not like how it is in juggernaught battles as this would become flooded and spammy, it would overcome the chance of it coming spammy by creating larger intervals between kills, eg 5,10,15 and 20. As this wouldnt appear often at least not 10, 15 and 20 as this is rare. Therefore would be a great way to push players to kill more tanks, thus be more eager to be productive in the game. :)

I like this. Juggernaut already has this feature, so it could be implemented in other modes. It doesn't have to be an alert that is visible to everyone, it's also possible that it only shows for yourself.

Yep, a Marshal would feel so proud of himself for killing a player 6 ranks lower. A player with an M4 would feel elated for killing other players with M2s. If the battles were more evenly balanced according to rank and equipment, then I could see this being a good idea. Right now, most of the ones on the list of high kill rates would be the ones with the stronger weapon, the ones with more supplies.

 

If a non-buyer was struggling to keep up, how many times would that player be on the high kill list? Just one more feature to make the "little guy" feel more inferior. A lower ranker may only get 3 kills but they were 3 kills he worked hard to get. Why take that feeling of awesomeness away from that player because he knows he will never (or seldom) see his name in lights? Unless, of course, the tables are turned and that player is in an unbalanced battle where he is king.
