Being ganged up on by Russian players

Tanki has always had more Russian players than English but lately the game feels very hostile to me and I can't get a fair battle. For example, in no supply mode I like to play polygon DM (first to 37 kills), but I am ganged up on by Russian players. A lot of them will team up and shoot me and no one else. This never used to be the case...

 

I play no supply mode as I rarely get a fair battle in the matchmaking system, but now I have nowhere left to play. Since the recent update, almost all of the battles have Russian titles which confirms to me that I am in a significant minority.

 

I have 150k in crystals and I'm tempted to splurge it all today and not come back.

 

I am sure there are lots of nice and fair Russian players but my experience on this game is getting worse and worse. In fact it's getting really miserable.

I didn't seem to have that problem until yesterday. I joined a losing team, but the gap wasn't very big. They were down 2 players, I thought I could make a difference. Of course, the title was in Russian so for all I knew, I was joining a CP battle. I spawned and only got like a couple feet before I was blocked by 2 teammates. I couldn't maneuver around them. Obviously, they didn't want me there, so I left. If it was a certain turret/hull only, I don't know. I knew it wasn't XP/BP. 

 

Well, another suggestion made by players that went haywire. Be careful of what you wish for, it may come true, but not the way you expected. We seem to forget that this game has been overrun by the Russians and expect everything to be in English. We are part of their money making scheme, but are not accommodated. I consider ourselves lucky to have an English forum. That could be taken away, too. Think about it how things have gone in the past, then fast forward into the future.

After reading this, on my main account, I joined some DM battles to complete a mission and I actually started noticing this. Russian players are probably out there trying to attack whoever has an english looking username. This might sound crazy but it doesn't explain the fact that people will weird-ass nicknames are somehow having an alliance and the only players getting killed are the english players.

This has absolutely nothing to do with skill. I spawned into a battle and never got a chance to fire a shot before I was attacked (sabotaged) by my own teammates. Some Russians are very protective of their battles. They may feel that our pixelated DNA may attack their pixelated battle with a pixelated virus or cause their pixelated tanks to contract a pixelated cancer. Outside of the military and politics, I have nothing against Russian people as a whole. I have some Russian DNA flowing through my veins. Some Russians want to make something political out of a game. Enough said about that.

I have never ever been ganged up upon by Russians before! On the contarary I sometimes have Russians asking to team up with me.


In DM it's always target the weak as well as eliminate the biggest threats to you. so be neither.

You're totally right! You can never play any pro Polygon CP battle today without being ambushed by renowned Russian clans like Bears, Sun, and many others. They actually team up against anyone who isn't their friend hence dominating any battle effortlessly. 

Same goes for Island and Arena CP, they just hop in whenever the other side is empty.

And say nothing of their dirty play, they will do anything to force you to change equipment first so they can change accordingly.

That's why i barely play in any pro battles anymore.

I don't think we should we talking about countries of a specific country. I find this useless and can start some negative verbal arguments.

Fine what this discussion is saying that non-Russian players do not want to play with Russian players and have already justified why so.

I have also seen lately a lot of Russian players teaming in DM which should be against the rules.

 

I saw 2 isidas feeding 2 Titan Twins and just driving around killing everyone.

 

DM is supposed to be one on one.

 

And the Russian clans are horrible. They will put a couple of players on your team to mult. You can't hardly beat 8 with 6.

Whut? How does an Isida help anyone in a DM?

Were they XP players? Were they trying to get you mad with the words kid and ez?

It was in PRO battle mode, DM, no supplies. I haven't played it since.

 

I don't think they were trying to get me mad, just teaming. It was like I was the juggernaut.

I was doing some chill OMP and regular parkour with some random EN user in a battle named in russian ( why are these speds making russian-named  battles on an english server? ) and all of these russians start to kill me and flip me, its a really annoying experience

You are missing the biggest problem ............ after they combined the servers i cant find matches with English speakers so you cant communicate.  There is zero point to a multiplayer game mode with no communication.  Its bad enough TO moved further into the pay to win side.

It's one server for all - you are playing on same serer the Russians are playing on. 

 

That's why in many battles you can't even "talk" to your team-mates.

I feel like tanki just made one whole server due to the drastic decrease they caused. Before, we had nice, organized servers that were based on language and rank. They should have kept at least 1 server for each language

As I understand it, there's more than one server. A player mentioned that he waited several minutes (I forget how many minutes) to enter a battle and inquired why it took so long. A Mod said that the MM was probably searching empty servers for a battle and told him to try again. So, there are more than one server and sometimes they are empty.

They are privileged. They have their own forums, so you won't see them here. However, check out the Country Clubs, a few are there on occasion.

A Mod said that the MM was probably searching empty servers for a battle and told him to try again. So, there are more than one server and sometimes they are empty. 

There's more than one server, but only 1 lobby.  So players from different servers (countries) get re-directed to fill a common battle.

To be honest a large amount of the tanki REALLY hates Americans or English speaking players, I always get cussed out in stupid russian for entering a battle, but it doesn't bother me much

I think it's all political. What the Russians know about us is what they hear on their media. Same as Americans knowledge of Russians is what we hear on the media. And it ain't all good.
