I don't think the Devs actually play this game. They just throw something out there and hope for the best. I bet that pip-squeak CEO doesn't have an account, either. I think the Devs are up against an impossible time constraint. If they haven't met their assigned goals by the end of the time period, the CEO tells them to throw in the game whatever they have, including the flaws, "...and do something that will make me some money!!" I think he's a Dictator wannabe.

They do. They just play 1 v 1 against each other within their own private servers at the office. Which means that they have not developed nearly enough skill to be a viable player above Warrant Officer and they do not know what's OP and what's not. For example, Magnum hasn't been nerfed because devs think it's bad because none of them spent enough time to learn how to use it properly.

1 v 1 doesn't cause the lag that 8 v 8 can cause. Therefore, it doesn't exist. It has got to be all those outdated computers and players who don't know how to keep them clean (and I don't mean the outside of the case, either). We're all a bunch of little kids who don't know cow patties from Shinola.

The lead game designer of Tanki Online has 81 hours played since 2015, and that's just his main account. You can find a more detailed answer about this here (last question). The EN community manager has 88 hours played and ranked up from basically zero up to WO-3 all during the past year, without spending money.
