I use Railgun, Ricochet and Shaft

They counter my short-ranged firebird easily, so I need protect against them

also, it feels good to survive a Shaft Sniping Shot

 

The Rico protect is used cuz its my 3rd highest upgraded protect

I use protection against long and mid range turrets. I mostly use wasp and try to keep distance or use surprise against short range turrets. If a short range turret gets close to you, protection does not help much, especially against freeze. It has worked pretty well for me.
