New feature, naming battles, problem for me

Now when I look at the battle list, the names are mostly in Russian, so I cannot tell which map is being used, this is so strange.  I do not care whether players name their battles, but I should be able to see the map employed in my own language, which is English.

Well tanki should re-use the tanki 1.0 method
Where on the left side you have custom names and the right side for the actual map name. 
I always found it useful back in the old days

Bullshyte answer Kariwolves.  What Battle filter?  Join game, see Battles group, click on Battle List, click on Capture the Flag icon, see list of battles mostly in Russian, no such filter.  Please explain. Besides, I do not want to filter any battles, I just want to know what map each Capture the Flag battle is using and then decide if I want to play it.

Just use the battle filters that are already in Tanki Online. That way, the battle filters will filter the battles that you don't/do want.

 

There is no need to make a whole topic on this, just use the battle filter and everything will be Ok.

 

Or, as always, just use the Matchmaking system that was installed months ago. It always works.

The problem OP, and everyone else is facing is that they cannot read the Russian names, or know what map the battle is in.

 

From where in the world did you get that we are confused what type of mode it is?

I have the same problem. Especially in parkour space maps where the picture of the map isn't displayed. I have no clue what map im joining until I actually enter the battle.

Did you even read what the topic is about? Game mode filter will not translate battle names from Russian to English.

What about filtering the battles named with Latin alphabet and Russian alphabet? It would be very nice if I could see only battles named with Latin alphabet, I really did not expect so many Russian battles there.

No one asked about the mode, the OP and everyone else wants to know what the damn MAP the battle is in, not the MODE the battle is in.

 

If you cannot differentiate between MAP and MODE, then.. \_(:/)_/

However, it is pretty easy to grab (at least for myself) what the Russian map name means in English, mostly.

Good suggestion! I sometimes get confused too when I see a whole list of Russian named battles. I hope they update this soon!
