Am i the only one who does not speak let alone read any russian? 

so why let people make their own names for battles so its not possible to see what map it is?? Am i the only one who thinks this is dumb?

So am i the only one wondering what tanki really is all about?

I get banned without no reason ( as to my opinion) and learn that im banned in RUSSIAN!!!

Am i the only one who think this sucks?

And if u try to find out why ur banned why is it so difficult to get to the mod who banned???

And am i the only one who get banned for calling a player names after they sabotage and I get banned for language????

Go find better mods, go fix all the bugs there still are but STOP MAKING CHANGES OVER and OVER.

More and more players leave tanki!!!!!

Calling a player names does get you banned in the chat if the mod is in the game who has evidence to support his actions or the player reported you on forums who also has evidence of you insulting him. 

 

You can always message an English Chat moderator who can support you if you think the actions were wrong against you. 

 

I just think at the moment you're in the rage mode at the moment, you need to calm your brain.

If player plays a game, he is not going to learn a language (he wants to have fun, that's why he is here), he will buy a dictionary. If a player wants to join PRO battle, he doesn't want to struggle to find a specific map because if he makes his own, noone will join. I understand RU letters, but I don't speak Russian. Croatian is similar so I read from context. Many tankers don't understand RU. So, why should they spend eternity to find a battle when devs can just show the name of battle more right from the number of players in green bar in battle list.

Hi all, this particular issue has been reported to devs the first day the battle naming was re-introduced to the game so we're expecting it to be sorted soon - we suggested the original map names to also be included. I hope we'll soon see that or similar solution implemented. 

 

As for Russian language, this is a Russian game so it's kinda logical that majority of its players speaks Russian and similar languages. It's also true that we have many other languages present in the game, especially in this community, at least 50 different ones! So we cannot expect everyone to know each and every language there is... what we can do is to try to find a middle ground or to make an effort and learn some words in other languages too - after all, it is said that the more languages you know, the smarter you are ;)

Unfortunately a majority of the players are not in that age to learn a new language yet. Therefore expect that a part of the player will not be able to talk any other language except their mother tongue, and if some are leaning English they might be still not confident enough to master it. So the matter will never be solved completely.

As Ostrica said some sort of compromise will be implemented to make easier to all.

They don't have to be that young, nor Russian, nor Buyer. Tanki Online game is global and free to play, easy to access, so it is open to players from many background, ages and countries: they could be French, 10 years old and with no money. 

Furthermore Russian words or words using Cyrillic alphabet can be used in many countries outside Russia (e.g Ukrain, Latvia,...) or some player who actually made the effort to learn Russian or just a couple of words.

Armenians and Georgians understand basic Russian too. Just writing the route where flag is going or from where the enemy team players are coming (and how many) should be enough for your team-mates to understand what is going on. Russian words for such basic info you can easily learn from the topic I already mentioned. 

I also doubt they wouldn't understand "flag, left" or "2 from the right" in English. So yeah, you can find a way to communicate, you only have to try.

I learnt English with 7 years ._.

Many players who speak English ARE NOT from England / America etc.

Everyone knows English is "secondary" language in many countries. In my country, on borders or buses, officials ask them 1st "Do you speak ENGLISH", not "Do you speak RUSSIAN".

I think that everyone should know very very basic English.

Yeah... tanki must change the naming of PRO battles. I cannot tell what map it is unless I can tell from the picture. For new players I imagine it is a big turn off if they are not Russian. Like I said, tanki is increasingly becoming a niche game and only enthusiasts remain.

I know about the topic, and that is how I am able to communicate with Russian teammates. But, most of the times, I find Armenians and Georgians talking like its a Lobby Chat Channel and not a battle.

If their behaviour and lack of engagement is directly influencing the course of the battle, you can report them for sabotage.

It is like a 'passive' sabotage of sorts, does hurt in heated battles like a Polygon CP XP/BP.

 

How would B_Ms see that they are talking instead of playing? Plus, since this happens across teams (but one team gets far much more affected) how would they know if it is genuine sabotage?

I think BMs would be able to see chat. If there is more chat than playing, that could be sabotage. You still have to move your tank occasionally, because even though you are chatting, the system sees you as not moving, playing. That's happened to me a couple times when the opposing team leaves and there's only two left on the same team. I got to chatting with my teammate and forgot to move. I was booted out for inactivity.

U contradict urself a lot. but to reply. THe russian Cyrillic is like the arabic and chinese alpabet...........It does not make any sence to earopeans nor americans or scandinavians or africans.......argument is BS.

As i , like many other players, speak beside our native language one or more other languages. RUSSIANS KNOW ONLY RUSSIAN!!!!

In european and american schools u can learn foreign languages and many do. RUSSIANS DONT.

LEt ur players use english or go back to the situation of ENGLISH SERVERS and RU servers. 

Another reason to do so is because the russian mentality of most players is egoistic, not able to play as a team, dont think about other skills than D/L etc.

In short, my experience on tanki with russians is BAD. They dont play together!!!!

I know for a fact that in many European countries people don't speak English at all since they are nurturing and focusing on their own languages; all the movies that are originally in English are synchronized and they don't have much opportunities to learn or practice English at all, especially if they didn't travel abroad. It is visible in EN community every day on the chat, that's one of the reasons we are hiring moderators from different countries, so they can help players by speaking in their own language. Also, saying that "Russian mentality of most players is egoistic" (aside of a few exceptions) is too much, I really wouldn't generalize like that...
