I agree with the fact that the task is difficult to accomplish, but if you take a look at another recent announcement about the Summer Sales, you will notice that gaining stars now will not only help you get those containers, but also has an increased chance of getting you more crystals and gold boxes, accompanied by 30% discounts on garage items. Maybe the devs left you guys with some motivation after all  ;). Besides, you have a whooping 6 days worth of time to accomplish this.

even if this was possible ..we need a bonus item to make us get the amount they want from us. like say a special drop zone to release a special star to increase the amount.. say its like a gold box and inside the star is say double stars earned pass for 1 hour or even a day. or say 10 stars given in it . like this is the only way to increase stars. unless the score battle kills are giving us more stars instead of one per battle on 5 kills or 100 exp..

 

oh wait maybe i'm on to something .. like what are those nuclear zones . could they be special drops locations for bonus stars ??

So, during the War, you could earn 10 containers per day, by only making 30 stars a day.

 

And for the total duration of the War, I made like 500-600 stars, with the pass.

 

Here, 500 stars for 5 containers? And 700 stars only for a paint, and no containers?

 

I hope the luck in these containers is boosted. Otherwise, it's not worth it.

Since the topic kinda looks spammed with complaints about the stars and the reward for it..Didn't really bother searching through the other pages, so I'll ask here: Do the stars get removed after each server re-start? Or are they saved, didn't quite understand the meaning of it in the first post, thanks for the answer in advance.  :)

As a matter of fact, other tanker (and I) actually had this king of idea (check the I&S and the war topics) to use the star system from the war as an alternative of the Kills tiers in Crazy Weekend. Others suggested to have it permanently in order to get more out of TO. Obviously we all did not mention the Star Pass and the fact id would be a full week event. So yes this type of event is easy and obvious to think about even by random players. 

I suppose we should all be very optimistic about any event as it is without question nicer than no event at all. Additionally it won't be interesting if it was all the time a troll in the park to get the big prize, It is true that this time TO put the bar quite high, but it is a nice paint though. Furthermore the event as a whole offer more than the stars tiers so you should be able to enjoy a part of it.

Rewards stack up so if you get 700 stars u get 15 containers and animated paint cause they realised it is needed so its not worthless

During war, I have hardly earned 30 stars within 10 hours among lots of Russian druggers. And this is even further beyond.....  :(

A lot of you know me and as a buyer I have absolutely no intentions of taking part in "Star Week" and I hope other buyers will take my lead and not support this one event. This is beyond insane as the playing time, cost in drugs and the Easy Star Pass is not worth the rewards. They perfectly timed this out to go along with a sale and yet another bad sale at that. I am sitting on 1.3 million crystals and this will be the second sale I have not taken part in. If we start supporting events like this one it will only get worse. I am pleading with the "buyers" not to support this by just playing normally and by not buying the "Easy Star Pass". I am pleading with "all players" not to support this by just playing normally. I have been playing Tanki Online for a few years now and I have seen some pretty horrible events but this one is by far the worst. It has been taken to a new level when it comes to greed and the worst part about this is some people are trying to convince others that this is an awesome event and there will be great rewards that they can put towards the sale or maybe even get an animated paint. Not cool. 

 

Please, please, please do not support this event.

 

Just have fun with normal game play for this one event.

Stars are saved till the end of the event. And at each milestone you will get the reward automatically.

When you reach 100 stars — 1 container;

When you reach 200 stars — 2 containers;

When you reach 300 stars — 3 containers;

When you reach 400 stars — 4 containers;

When you reach 500 stars — 5 containers;

When you reach 700 stars — animated paint “Fall leaves

 

This mean if you reach 400 stars you will get 1+2+3+4 = 10 containers in total.

If you reach 700 stars you will get the animated paint “Fall leaves" and would have accumulated 15 containers.

I get the fact how the star system could be beneficial for other events and could really help it. But I am not talking about any other topic or any other way the star system could be used in any other way. I am talking about "Star Week Event". 

Do you actually think players will be able to gain 700+ stars in the midst of 6 days ? 

 

Through my calculations, you would have to play the game for 16h / per day. The event is not even worth all the hardwork since the rewards are not worth fighting for. You, as a english moderator could do something about it by asking developers or nives to change the rules by either; 

 

1) Doubling the stars earned after a battle

2) Increasing the rewards

3) Increasing the drop rate of the containers

4) Decreasing the stars to be earned to get the rewards

 

Other than this, I find it impossible for anyone to reach 700 stars with or without the star pass. There is no fun in playing a game, everyday for 16h and earn stars daily.
