Same, I find it really challenging too to read these numbers, but I am sure everyone would get used to it in the near future. However, I think that the old MU level statistics is better than this new version.

Did I miss anything out? Didn't they fix Vulcan over-heating damage? It's still the same though, literally takes half off my HP.

The new supply box has basically become a new mini gold box, which is sad and bad at the same time. Sad because I find it quite childish when people fight over a silly supply box as its just a supply box like the rest. And bad as its starting to distract many players from the main objective of the battle depending on what mode the battle is  :mellow:

 

I personally don't like the way things are heading about this case at this moment in time.

Luckily I have the modified firing rate alt for Vulcan in my other account. With the alt and with hunter the firing time is hilariously longer than before while still having "normal" waiting time for firing. I can keep my close range fighting mode while shredding enemy from longer distance as well. The alt does reduce damage, but the buff compensates that.

 

So... with the ALT new "buff" is ok. Maybe THAT is the purpose of this "buff".

 

Values for M2 turret

 

Damage
- Before 379
- Now 529
- Now with ALT 397 ( -25 % )

 

Impact
- Before 167
- Now 241

 

Firing time
- Before 4,94 sec
- Now 11,29
- Now with ALT 16,94 ( +50 % )


So, I'm forced to by the alteration for the Vulcan. Gee, thanks. :(

But where from the Tanki gets these kind of ideas ??? Do they just listen to their favorite players ? which i am sure will be very few.. & make decision on the personnel choices / like & dislikes ? what about the majority ? the tankers who like to play with Vulcan or they have the most updated Turret in shape of Vulcan ... they are all complaining & crying ... I have only just one question .. Will the Tanki consider all these complaints or not ? Even will they answer to us & make some explanation to satisfy us or not ? :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

In my experience, Tanki listens, but they often do not follow the majority of comments. What we see in forum may not represent what they are finding with their internal research.

 

Tanki aims at the majority, particularly of the paying players. Simple fact, they have to make money. Sometimes money doesn't complement good game play.

 

Give it some time, at least five weeks. I've seen complaints go on for months without changes that met the complaints, but I've also seen complaints answered with satisfactory change. We shall see.

 

Consider the alteration for Vulcan.

 

They changed Twins to include splash damage (and self-damage). I had to buy the alteration. Kick in the teeth, but okay in the long run.

 

I cannot always see their logic. They seem to focus on new features, not good game play. I assume that keeps the funds coming in.

Get used to it... what?  :o

 

It takes 3+ seconds for the stupid barrels to spin up.  By the time bullets start to fly...

1) Target has found cover

2) Vulcan is killed

3) Someone else has killed the target

 

Are we supposed to run around randomly spinning up just in case a target suddenly appears?

 

Do the Devs not test anything in battle conditions before they role out changes? :wacko:

 

OR... maybe they just want everyone owning a Vulcan to fork out crystals for the alteration... yeah... maybe that's it.

 

Cuz as it stands, Vulcan is HOT GARBAGE.

New tank power indicator

 
With server restart on August 21 rating indicator at the far right of your experience bar will be replaced by a new indicator, showing the current power level of your tank. Power indicator will increase depending on how powerful your equipment is (hulls, turrets, drones, modules).
 
Equipment level can be seen in the experience bar or in battle by pressing on R or V keys. This way, you will be able to more easily find the right tanker for your clan or to understand who are you fighting in battle.
 

Yeah, I can analyze a lot about enemy tanks now. :mellow:  :huh:

I feel your pain . . . but Vulcan actually died about 2 years ago.


I forget the time line, but they introduced the Vulcan, and I played it on the test servers. It was hilarious. One could spin a wasp like a top. They fixed the parms, and I bought the turret for my main account and started a new account dedicated to the Vulcan (It is almost to M2 now). Tanki gradually tweaked the Vulcan over and over and for whatever reason made it a mediocre turret without the defining gyroscopic effect that kept it on target against Smoky. Now a good Smoky shot can turn the turret 100°, taking seconds to retarget.

 

I could fight melee, which is my wont. That is rather impractical now, but I keep trying.

 

I may give up on it if the alteration doesn't satisfy me.

 

Make it M4. Eventually, you get used to the difficulty of it.

NO!!! Isida stink.

 

The old Isida could get 65 kills in a 15 minute DM with for losses. Don't be lazy. Don't be greedy. Are you four years old?

was just about to say the same thing....how do I know if they are M4? .-.

And on my alts how do i know if someone is m0 m1 m2?....

 

I don't like this update .-.

I don't like the new tank power indicator, since a plain number means nothing to me. Even tho I found out what amount of "points" does certain equipment give you when equipped (full module is +1k, if I remember right, etc...), it still makes things harder for me. I always used to display player's upgrades, so I could directly see if he's "better" than me or not. Right now I can just see the visual appearance of tank to know his modification and if a player uses a skin, I have no way to find out his equipment modification, can have just a plain guess according to his rank. Also paints do give points to the "tank power" indicator, which obviously (IMO) has nothing to do with that, and needlessly makes it even more confusing. I'd like to have option to view player's upgrades (and best if also alterations and info about drones, but that wasn't possible so far, so I think it won't happen) either as an option in settings, or to keep the old way of displaying MUs and adding this tank power indicator number somewhere... maybe above turret/hull modification and MUs.

If you think about it - At low rank levels, people often complain that there are maxed out M2's in their battle - Basically maxed out M2's dominating the battles whilst everyone else has M1. Could be that they fully removed the MU statistics of the players so they don't complain? You know what I mean..

The GS thing is pointless and another downgrade...it is also almost impossible to see on a moving tank because of poor contrast and small lettering....just silly.

 

The buff for Vulcan made Vulcan even less potent.  I used to be absolutely deadly with Vulcan but now, especially after this "buff" it is more useless than Striker.  I haven't tried the Alt (probably just a waste of crys at this point) but as an M2-MU10, Vulcan is lame.  You are dead before you can get a shot fired...especially in DM and Juggy.

 

It's OK though.  I've lived without Vulcan for a long time now so at least there won't be maps packed with the things like it was with Freeze.

 

Who thinks up this asinine stuff for Tanki?   The Star Week....gosh.  MatchMaking...sooooo trash.  Let's make Freeze super OP for a few weeks...Oh 30% was too much, really?  OK we'll nerf it back to where it was before we buffed it.  And now we'll buff Firebird into the new terror...too much, OK we'll nerf it down.  It's like Tani is trying it's hardest to frustrate and alienate their player base.

Like the other posters I don't see the point in the GS update. It feels like another competition (who can get the highest GS but in reality it doesn't mean anything... it's just a number).

 

Why not make some real changes like reduce the number of overdrives per battle, the number of supplies that can be used etc?

Vulcan now is terrible - takes so long to fire it is pointless. 3+ seconds?  ridiculous.

 

It's almost as though the Devs don't even understand the concept of testing.

maybe they do <_<    They just want us to spend 100k/50k crystals on the alteration.

Rip Vulcan , got a big nerf.

The only bad thing it got is a longer barrel spin time before shooting and a slower turning speed. That's it, all the others are just buffs.
