The only bad thing it got is a longer barrel spin time before shooting and a slower turning speed. That's it, all the others are just buffs.

The slower spin-up speed outweighs everything else they did to it. 

 

Think Rail delay - now multiply that by 3 or 4 - but without the instant high damage.

 

All enemies have to do is rush the Vulcan - and the slow spin-up speed ensures they arrive undamaged.

Vulcan update is just brainless. It is now so slow to react or start up in open battle you can be destroyed before you even start firing. If it was this poor when it was purchased, no one would buy it.

Turning was slow enough before and now it is like being hit by freeze before you even start. Making the damage better makes no difference if you have to wait forever for it to start up.

Clearly another case of messing around due to bored developers. Nuclear idea is no good either- tanks just hang around for it.

Must say last 6 months of changes mean I play far less then ever and get bored in a fraction of the time....but keep praising yourself Tanki....You clearly feel you can do no wrong.

Exactly right....slow spin up means the Vulcan is now useless. Start firing, go and get a coffee and when you get back it might have started firing....killed the Vulcan Turret in one stupid update.

The have ruined Vulcan, gyro is of, speed is awful and it is slower than a snail with a bad leg..........just give us our crystals back and remove Vulcan totally.....you have robbed the people of Tanki

There is NO doubt TO administration is Vulcan hatters.

As I have said thousand times I will say once more: SINCE YOU DON'T LIKE VULCAN PLEASE REMOVE IT FROM THE GAME!!!

I'm Vulcan player since 2004 and I challenge everyone to check how many hours I've spent with it. Check my stats.

I'm also still waiting for an answer to the big question: WHY YOU CREATED VULCAN?

I don't like this GS thing. The number I have is 8656. I don't know what that means, if it's good or not. When I logged in, the number was 8622. And I did not buy anything. Just lost some supplies after using them in battles.

 

I prefered the Efficiency number to be honest.

Besides, the update just went live, if something's broken, the developers will fix it. You can't fix something in 24 hours in the programming world.

You have probably noticed, that Vulcan is usually used in combination with heavy hulls, because they can fire for a longer period of time while ignoring the burning of own’s tank.
 
We have decided to introduce the following changes to turret parameters, to make it more effective for playing on light and medium hulls:
 
  • significantly increased the length of time before overheating starts;
  • slowed down the turning speed for turret and barrels spinning before firing;
  • increased the firing distance;
  • increased damage.

The Vulcan is a complete waste of time now. I have 370 hour with Vulcan. How can you get this so wrong? making the turret turn slower and slower start up time? All you had to do was give it more damage power. I have M3 Mammoth 14/20 with M3 Vulcan 10/20 and smaller faster tanks are blowing you up easily so to make things worse you make it slower! Really? You Made the shaft almost worthless now the vulcan too. Do you guy's even play the game with these turrets to see what your update did? Soon to be another lost customer. As soon as my supplies are gone I am done. To late in the game to amp up another turret to M3.

 


Try using it with no drugs and see how long you last. Or with drug for that matter now.

Agree 100% u can't play the non pro games anymore anyways :)

My only turret was Vulcan. Thanks dev. -_- I just went to supermarket and came back and the barrel is still rolling.

 

Sane for rail its weak now :(

Well, time to move to other turret now.... which is railgun for me. :(

 

 

No don't ! Its weak I swear , try thunder its the best weapon in the game.

I tested vulcan and when I was going to shoot I though my game bugged or something, but it is that vulcan takes like 3 seconds to start shooting now. This is annoying because your enemies can hide or give them time to destroy you before you actually do damage.

 

Nevertheless, It can shoot about twice the time it used to, along with the improved dps, makes it better than before in some aspects. Also, it got a little bit more range, it is not much but not that I complain. The turret also turns even slower when shooting, which makes fighting at short range a challenge.

 

Now that you can shoot a lot more time, you should be able to destroy a tank or more before overheating, but if you overheat, you will still receive huge damage, this wasn't changed.

 

So, Vulcan became more of a long range weapon with these changes, what do you think?

Hi Pedro, you can still find efficiency on your profile page, but this GS number tells nothing, unles somebody explain exactly how it works, i have 8941 and i have no idea why :D (allmost all turets m4, 3turrets at 18 or 19 out of 20, 4 m4 hulls) but I used maybe 200 suplies today, and number did not changed (but i have 30k of everything, so 200 is not much)

Apparently it is tied to what you have equipped (including rare paints :huh:  ).

 

Try equipping and un-equipping some of your most rare paints and see if that score changes.

Great relief for non-Firebird users :x

 

Nice to see player's ideas getting more attention now but I hope that the new supply won't become a distraction for players, I feel like there'll be a lot of fighting over it. We'll see tho.

 

All the rest of the changes I'm glad to say; sound awesome.

Picked up 2 new supplies in 2 battles today, think most of the players still don't know wat they stand for.
