Why would I want anyone to win crystals from me purchasing the kit, me spending my OWN money for somebody to win crystals when they probably will spend no $$ at all?

That is understandable. I was talking about Price Pool. I purchase the kit, the crystal amount goes up by 20k crystals, meaning by September 13th, somebody will win crystals that came from my real money. If nobody will purchase the kit, the crystals won't grow up.

The paint from last year isn't available in containers, so I would guess this one isn't going to be either.

 

Edit: The paint has the same GS score as the "Tanki in Moscow" paint, which is the same as the "Green" paint and other special edition paints that aren't available in containers (Team VK, Vavilon). I can say with about a 99% certainty that is paint won't show up in containers when the event is over, and is in fact a one time deal.

This is the only time you can see how many people have bought it, other shop items probably have the same buy frequency, but you can't see those.

As a reference, 10374 accounts got it last year. It's only at 721 at the time of writing this.
