When Firebird blasts a stream of fire and Frost blasts fog in my face, I can't see what's going on in front of me. Meanwhile, the Firebird and Freeze has moved out of the line of fire leaving me shooting at nothing.

 

My suggestion is to make the fire and fog a little more transparent.

I feel like the "fog" is an intentional effect that is meant to make fighting close range turrets more difficult. But I agree that sometimes it's just obnoxious and blocks your view even if the fire/freeze is a teammate.

If you're a shaft in scope mode and a freeze or fire bird is shooting right at you in your sight. It could be harmful to your eyes if you stare at it for a couple of seconds.

Firebird and Freeze already have a huge disadvantage with distance against all other turrets (save Isida), so maybe making them your priorty target before they get too close to you should be considered. There is also the 'E' key to change your camera angle from ground level to a birdseye view.

This graphical effect can not really save you. When I play Fire or Freeze on my WO1 alt gorgoblesk99 and try to use it as smoke screen, enemies hit me as often as when there is no effect in front of my turret. I think it does not really help at all.

They can move slightly off to one side, out of line of fire without you realizing it. I'm not advocating get rid of flame or fog, just making them slightly transparent making the attacking tank more like a shadow to show movement.

Looking through the Shaft scope is like looking through a magnifying glass. Everything is magnified significantly.
