I could imagine that it would be enough to let you keep your nick if you invest a total of xyz money (which could be accumulated over various purchases), but actually I think that an "everlasting-nick-pass" would sell better

right now, your nickname will become available after a certain amount of time you didn't log into your account. this amount of time depends on your rank. the table below shows that amount of time for every rank.

 

 

 

however, if you have bought anything with real money, then it will take 3 years before your nickname becomes available. ( I don't know if buying the tankman combo ( fries, drink, burger, 2 days premium, 2 containers and drugs) at a southern fried chicken restaurant considers as buying something with real money. )

i already explained that this is so your legacy can live on forever under your name even after you quit. so even if you only play for 5 years you still want it to last after than till the end of time.

Tanki may go under in less than 5 years, so Tanki can't promise 100 years or forever.

 

It can use another term though, like 'Tanki's lifetime', that would be more honest, but it would cost a lot less. And if they add a unique paint to it they could charge more.

Like, I will leave this game, but I want my nick to be remembered (just in game, noone knows who I am in real life), I will pay 500€ and leave game forever.
