Why are modules so expensive?

Recommended Posts

Hi I start this topic because it struck me that the prices of modules are extremely expensive.
for example if you have 3 m3 modules it would cost you much more than your turret or hull. that is kind of weird 250 k for 1 module.
first it was 250 k for triple module but now you pay 500,000 more why is this done?

and this is also still without the micro upgrades with micro upgrades it will cost you for 3 modules  250,000 450,000 = 700,000 * 3 = 2.100.000. For an m3 tank full micro upgraded "for example thunder and viking" does it cost 1,262,800 crystals so only for the modules you already paid more than your entire tank + 20/20 micro upgrades and for the crystals that is left over you can still buy golden star paint and even then you still have 87k crystals left

THUNDER M3 VIKING M3 +  20/20 MU = 1.262.800 crystals

MODULE M3 + MODULE M3 + MODUKE M3=  2.100.000 crystals

"first this where images from thunder viking and modules but i can not post that here :("

We do not accept ideas for reduction of items' prices.

Modules became a lot more expensive because they got a lot more flexibility since the module separation update. Before, a triple module was just a single combination of protections, so if you bought 10 triple modules, you'd have 10 protection options. But now, having 10 modules allows you to make over 2000 combinations. Only the first 3 modules are expensive and overpriced, but once you start collecting more and more of them, they will start to earn you back their worth.

10 modules allow you to make 10*9*8=720 combinations. All 14 modules allow you to make 14*13*12=2184 combinations.

That sounds really great but... Make them cheap or free so I can have them all. Modules are now really Pay To Win and it should not be like this. I think that Press Number Keys To Win (drugs) is enough...

It's not really 720 since you are counting A-B-C and B-C-A and C-B-A etc. as different combinations. You can have with 120 combinations with 10 modules (720 / 6) and 364 combinations with 14 modules (2184 / 6)*.

I think that modules should be at least a little cheaper (like 5 or 10%). They are P2W.

*There are 6 possible ways to "sort" 3 modules: ABC, ACB ,BAC, BCA, CAB, CBA. They are all the same.

Yep, you made it :P

I've had problems with counting number of combinations when order does NOT matter, but i got it now

1/10 is way too cheap, don't you think?

I think it is OK. All 14 modules would cost 7000 at M0, 42000 at M1, 140000 at M2 and 350000 at M3. That is still lot of crystals...
