But it's only 160 GS for a whole combination, it's not that much. Prove to them you don't need an XT skin to be good. ;)

 

Obviously there is no guarantee there will be more XT's unless stated by the Deves, but I'd be surprised if there were no more.

The whole point of GS was to determine how strong a tank is on the battlefield, skins do nothing but skew the number making it harder to guess. Maybe a container farmer has over 3k of each supply and a fancy paint but chooses to play with stock m1s, they look like they have m2s. There was nothing wrong with the old system but the devs need to keep messing with the UI to feel like they're actually working on the game.

 

The old system was perfect in everything but alts. It didn't block too much because it was above tanks, it showed exact MUs and you could easily put together how strong a tank was with just one press. You could even just press it after you died so it would never bother gameplay.

 

Now you get a number that could mean anything. At this point the devs might as well start selling GS in the shop, $10 for 1000 GS? Some people would probably still buy it.

Tanker’s Day has historically been one of the better holidays in terms of discounts. 40%, sometimes 50%. We’ve recently had 25% and 30% sales, so my gut tells me Tanker’s day will be good.

I'm thinking that the game economy was flooded with container bucks from the last War. I would be very surprised at 50% off this time. Maybe 50% MUs or certain shop things...

 

40% garage discount is my guess, with moaning to compensate. But seriously... when players below WO1 have 6 figures, they literally cannot spend it logically without buying every kit and blowing it all on M1s (not so logical). Either they wreck their account or Tanki notes that players are awash in cash and scales back the sales a bit.

 

Another thing to consider is they have this live event going on in Mother Russia. That will occupy a lot of attention for those players. The in-game holiday will mean less to them as a result, even if deferred a week. I'm afraid this time might be a bit of a bummer... I hope I'm wrong.

I agree and I was just talking a few days ago how Tanki has created a mess that may cause many players to ruin their accounts...
