Godmode?

Nevermind, no

I disagree with the statment, that GS makes things easier, two tanks with same GS could have different upgrades (one has more MUed turret, one more MUed hull for exaple), moreover, I need to compare my GS (which I don't remember, since it changes as I change equipment) with the enemy's, and even then I don't really know who's "better". I loved to see the upgrades, simply because it was easy, I used a lifehack to keep the upgrades info open all the time, so I always had an overview of whole battlefield. Now it's not just upgrades, it's also the modification, which can't be seen if a player uses a skin.
For me:

situation before: look at MUs for a moment and I knew everything about the player for the rest of battle
now: I see a number which I have no idea about it's meaning, and if I wanted to know, I'd need to learn how the number is calculated, to approximately assume enemy tank's abilities.

What this update did to me is that I no more use the V key, because I'm not going to learn anything new there. Oh yea, sometimes I check protections of players, so I can choose and change to the least protected turret in battle.

I'd like to have the old MU table back, it shouldn't be a problem to have it as an option in settings (default turned off), just like there is option to hide drones, etc...

The update was meant to simplify things, but it didn't... at least for me.

Question: how come the paint be a useful parameter for the Gear Score (GS)?

Paints have no impact on in the strength of a tank. It is only to artificially increase the GS score. Paint should not be part of the GS.

What would be useful on the other hand is a different score on the type of hull used: the more HP the more powerful the tank is.

interesting . would have like to know if there will be a contest when the event for "Tanki in Krasnodar" takes place .. or even a good sale .

also not a fan of GS  due to each hull and turret have there own levels of GS rating . this do's nothing to show real proof on how strong a player is in general . it just breaks it into different sections . this system also gave us more achievement to do .

agreed with above statements GS should not be on paints seeing we were told paints were only a colour coating for designs. also for skins it should not be allowed . not everyone owns a XT skins.

Everytime I answer question of the week, I never get chosen

its cause the winners are chosen from a computer generator . they take all the correct winners and place them in to choose the winners ..

NO DONT CHANGE THE INTERFACE.

they should change it back to the old system due to above statements on GS on paints and skins which were suppose to be nothing but a coating to make your tanks look cool .

see what I don't get is why they did it in the first place ..

when a player like myself who only uses one hull and turret will be stronger then a player who changes there equipment due to wanting different battle modes will be less stronger then others . see tanki gave us over 20 different combination to change into .now your telling us to only use one set up to build up experiences and this also apply s for paints/ XT-skins .. if you only use that one paint it will be stronger then all the other paints in garage ..

so I ask : why even have a selection of turrets and hulls / paints and xt-items when you now are telling us we wasted our crystals on buying them all these years and even upgrading them for no use. tank was to be a inter change able system to be able to change things to different battle fronts to build up experience on one account not many items that even the strongest players have now been reduce to medium to low rank players.

I fully agree on this. I think it's pretty pointless for the players, except of making it easier to brag with it - because you also don't get the full 9999 if you have only normal equipment and no XTs. If I really want to know the modification level, I will have to look on appearance details of the turret or hull again, like before the R and V update. What benefit do I have, if I stashed my garage full with supplies, but I never use them?

Additionally, when playing in Legend battles, it is not so much important anymore, because I'd expect M4s there anyway. Also what helps if I know it, I can't decide on playing with or against them, so it's much more important that the team balancing system decides on the player's equipment than that the player's know about an indicator like this, but properly revised.

On the other side, it could be used in the ratings page, when it included all of the garage equipment and not only the equipped one.

GS Garbage stuff.

One with M4 hull + turret other with m3s and with animated paint. LoL.. who is strong according to GS? LoL again.

I know how GS works. My question is why different GS point for paints? they all are same and has zero impact on game play

Dollar paints will make your tank strong :p

This question was asked on the Friday RAW stream and Nives said that they give so little that it doesn't even matter. After all it's based on your turret, hull, module, drone. But the reason of "why" wasn't given. We still have to wait for an official to reply that :P

see what I don't get is before this change they continually stated that there was nothing important on XT items or paints . but really there is now . see if I have regular M3 fully upgraded my GS is 8742 but with XT skins its 8822 . so it jumps up 80 rating points compared to someone who only has m3 fully upgraded with my rating . this also happens on selected paints .. so in a way it gives certain players a edge over others .its the same with players who have in the past only used certain turrets and hulls and seldom touch others . now when they go to battle on them they have little GS rating on them.
