TO Battle Pass may be coming!

In Fortnite you can obtain the battle pass through weekly challenges. I already figured that battle passes will be bought with real money, but can we obtain them as F2P players through weekly challenges?

In Fortnite F2P players still get rewards from Battle Pass but not as much as people who bought it.

I'm a F2P on Fortnite and managed to get The actual Battle pass from challenges that awards you with much more skins and items. I'm just wondering if there's a way F2P'S can get the Gold Battle Pass ( for buyers ) without buying

Ohhhhhh right. I remember having Battle Pass for Season 3 or 4 I think so the rewards were really great. Not sure how it works for F2P on Fortnite but I doubt there will be a way to get it for free since It's on Tanki. Fortnite has made over $100+millions, knowing they won't be greedy for F2P so they might as well give free stuff to them.

You're right. Tanki always has knock off concepts form other games, look at Fortnite's MM and look at ours

Fortnite has even improved their waiting time to spawn, as soon as you spawn, you are already on the bus within 1-2 seconds.

The Matchmaking System is a universal system that is needed by MMOs to create the best possible battles for their players, Fortnite is not the only thing game with the system, so it isn't really a knock-off. Plus these are two different games of two different genres, you can't compare them in the first place.

Another thing to delay useful stuff like HTML5 and Overdrives? No thanks.

This is a secondary feature being developed side by side with the HTML 5 by two different departments of the the company. Programmers deal implementation of the game to HTML 5 while the game designers and interface artists work on the Battle Pass.

One more thing, why is there talk about missions being removed? Nobody said that is going to happen, and if they release longer missions, you're not entitled to complete them at all costs so please don't rant about it in this topic.

I like contracts. Maybe this could be nice.

Are you sure you want Overdrives in the game?

I'm only saying this because Overdrives were promised a year ago and will be the only update that won't completly revolve around mindless drugging.

Yay another pay to win feature

(watch this cost $25 like the battle pass bundle in fortnite)

It's odd how Nives said that Tanki wanted to become "big" last year whilst discussing about upcoming updates for 2018 and the total opposite happened ever since those updates. Now we're a really small community thanks to the updates that were supposed to make us big

The Battle Pass is a systematic pay-to-unlock-item model with two sections, one which is free for all players and the other which can be bought. As shown, the free one is the silver one and the golden one is the purchasable one. There are tiers in the pass, most likely either 50 or 100 depending upon the developers choice, each one containing an item. Free players only get one item per five (or so) tiers while players who purchased get everything. Each tier needs to be unlocked by gathering stars (at least that is what I think it will be), which can be gained by playing battles or completing Battle Pass-specifc missions. You can also purchase all tiers immediately to get all the things. Earlier tiers generally contain common items, increasingly getting better as one progresses in the Pass. In the end there might be rare Pass-specifc paints and even skins, who knows? So yep, it's for all players.

Sounds like fun for new players but for veterans like me, I am doubtful that they can put anything appealing enough inside the pass for me or other Legends to buy into yet another real money mechanic.

This also feels like an abrupt shift away from Containers as the de facto ‘pay real money for goodies’, so I’m skeptical.

Maybe this is as simple as two tiers of Premium?

i would like this

We free people get +50% xp +100% crystals and buyers can have it double, seems fair

not pay2win because it only affects progress anyway

"Not obligated"  is perhaps the phrase you were looking for?
