After your cleared up your intention 2 days later, and I was made aware of it today, I finally changed the status.

While space mode can be real fun, it is still a gamemode that is pretty rare compared to others. Obviously some people enjoy it, but more people like to play without it. As MM battles should "fit best to the most players" (which is hard), only things that are liked by a broad user base should be placed there.

Space mode is really not the kind of game where you want to play actual battles. It would be fun as a private event you could do with friends or something organised by event helpers, but I wouldn't do it on a regular basis.

Maf, I would like to point out that you do not account for the majority of players in TO. People do play REAL space battles.

The cast majority of battles in the PRO battle list are normal gravity. This suggests that people dont want to play space mode very much.

isnt there like a damn variable called space_mode that they put like if(mapmode=space)->launch space_mode and space mode is literally a skybox and reduced gravity

I don't know how it works over there and honestly I'm also in loss as to why they can't add things and fix issues which seem incredibly simple and straightforward, but it is how it is.

I didn't post the topic, so I cannot do anything about it other than to tell you that he meant in Pro Battle MM maps, not regular MM battles.

 

As for devs forgetting, this is a good reply:

It wouldn't be hard to just add an existing option to a few maps. 

 

As for "not enough battles are made in the space mode", you do realise that there are people who would like to use it to parkour (M0/M1/M2 people) and also to just have fun.

 

 

Please, don't tell me that parkour in normal gravity with those modifications is possible, as I already know it is. But organising such a trick, even with your friends around those M's rank bracket is a mighty feat.

You probably know that in most Silence CTF maps there are flip wars. I told Guido that if idea is to add space mode to MM battles, there won't be that much flip wars because people will try to score points (I think at least xD)
