Matchmaking, Turret Balance changes

No wonder smoky players in mid-ranks are doing so well after the update. 

 

To buy a smoky m2 module you have to be Colonel.  :o  That's nuts!  :blink:

 

That's the highest level module for m2.  5 more ranks and you can buy m3 module.

Why is smoky m2 module rank-condition so high????

Because modules unlock at the same rank as the turret it protects against. Badger M2 (freeze protection m2) comes out at WO5, same as Freeze M2, for example. 

 

They haven't given any reason as far as I remember for rank condition of modules, but I think matching them with the turrets rank conditions seemed easiest to do...?

And smoky m2 available in Atlas/Northerner at... Captain?

I had spent so many crystals and time getting it to m4, and then the update came where its hardly even in the running as a strong turret...

kinda late reply but

 

it literally has 1000 dps which is insane

Question about getting invited to group while in a MM battle.  If you click to join the group, it doesn't take you out of your current battle.  I have clicked join and manually left battle and I am not part of the group.

 

How is this supposed to work?  Do you have to leave the battle first and then click join?

What makes me laugh is - People think they are immortal during the battle using firebird because it does insane amount of damage. As soon as they swap turret, they get no kills what so ever and I sat here thinking "Wait a min, this guy kept on killing me with firebird each time" but when the turret is different, they become weak. 

 

Not sure for how long they are keeping firebird buff but it's getting annoying now.

Was playing mid-rank CTF battle on Highways with alt account.

 

Enemy had at least 3 wasp-firebirds zipping in and grabbing flags.  They alternated who came first to sacrifice itself to destroy the defenders while the other one made off with flag.

I’ve seen a few firebird / light hull gangs recently (all of my accounts are still at various WO ranks) and they’ve killed me a lot, but it’s been fun getting my revenge with bought-on-Sunday Assault Ammo + M1 10/10. I’m not missing the critical that much.

Guys I have smoky m3 but it's not that much annoying like firebird

It's afterburn can finish more than 50% of my health

Striker with a small buff got massively nerfed with the way they calculate splash damage.

 

So any tank within 2m of "target" will take 100% splash damage...

 

Good luck to striker on smaller maps - every enemy will "hug" the striker - making it kill itself.

I've never seen anyone so butt-hurt over a game, butt-hurt over something that will never go back because it was in the past and you can't bring the past back lol.
