Matchmaking, Turret Balance changes

I don't think this is a bug. If you move cursor from left to right it remove modules and if you move from right to left it equip same modules. I think its a new feature nives forget to mention. But its annoying

that sounds like a feature for mobile players to swipe things in and out.. hmm..

But we're not talking about mobile version.

Checked on mobile its not working that way..

yes, I understood that you were talking about the pc based version. Still the concept sounds like a mobile feature.

Thanks for cross-testing it on the mobile version as well :)

PRO-Battle List Changes


  • Next to custom battle names in Battle List you will now see the names of maps, so it will be easier to find your favorite map.

 


No I must say that from changes of pro creating battles nothing is the same.


So it will not be easy to find my favorite map because my favorite maps is 


FARM, ISLANDS, SANDBOX, WAVES, But now you turn around the


4 maps for shaft, rail guns and thunder.

Could you please sort the battle list like this:

 

sandbox (started 10:00)

sandbox (started 09:50)

sandbox (started 09:40)

Red Alert (started 10:00)

Rio (started 10:00)

Rio (started 09:50)

Rio (started 09:40)

 

This would be very welcome..

 

(ps: The colors are not needed in the battle list, they just aid the understanding of the basic idea..)

You have much better coding sense than those developers in Tanki.

I like the update for Smoky. I've switched to being a Smoky user and I thought I was kind of crazy how a gun that shoots bullet-speed explosive shells does like 33 damage at long range.

First, BUGS!!!!

 

What the heck? Game won't load. Matches won't load. Freezeup. That stupid lock-glitch on the protections. (That is a big deal during a quick garage change during battle!) There are more glitches right now than I've seen in weeks. Fix the dang bugs.

 

MM isn't better. Two, three minutes. Exit the wait screen, start again. 20 to 50 second "average", but 100 seconds is closer to my current average wait.

 

Balance? What is balance? Lt DH.98 fighting a General Shaft. One-shotted EVERY time I saw the laser.

LTC NobodyUKnow70 fighting low Generals is not surprising, but I had mostly Lieutenants on my team. We were slaughtered from the first minute. Red-Assault, I made one flag. Two other flags made it. Otherwise, we were just respawning for 10 minutes. It was literally like being one against two the whole match.

 

Recent updates have been bad or mediocre, fixes that break other things and simply trivial updates or changes or "improvements". 

 

Is there anything planned that will actually brings some fun back to the game? Anything that will reward skill? Right now the only hope is getting lucky, or perhaps one's favorite turret will be the next one for overkill for three weeks or so.

As an avid striker user I was really looking forward to this update, only to be disappointed. My striker is M4 and it said the changes would be most noticeable at the higher modifications, yet the lock on time doesn't feel any different, and the projectile speed improvement is hardly noticeable. 

 

Im guessing that the developers didn't want to over buff like they did with the last recent balance updates, but striker of all things, was probably in most need of an over buff...

Smoky is awesome. Now it's possible to play with Smoky in Barda, Aleksandrovsk or Solikamsk. Before, it was pointless with 100-150 damage when very far of the enemy.


ROFL, tanki really added fall leaves into containers, wow, honestly pathetic, the paint that would be known to be only for no-lifers/grinders of 700 stars has now lost all meaning because u added it in containers, this why i dont bother anymore, there's nothing to playing for items like these if everyone can get them from containers, ggwp, not gonna bother play those stars anymore tbh, waste of time (unless maybe the war)

You are surprised? This is what they do. They always put the stuff in containers. Nothing is unique at all. and when you manage to get something truly unique, like an animated paint for winning the war, they take it away before the next war.

 


The first “wave” of supply drops in battles will begin to drop significantly later than now -- close to 2 minutes after the battle starts, and not in about 40 seconds.
It's not working. The first wave starts a few seconds after the beginning of the battle.

When can we expect to select a matchmaking map?

this is big. Now I play a daily bonus and that's is all about that day in game. I want to play longer on some of my favorite maps.

 

why do you devastate the game?

Do something to bring back isda's power and strength, i'm sure there are a hell of a lot of people who would agree with me.

Yes i agree... it's one of the reasons why the tanki community has drastically declined. Everything they make you work for is just pointless...

First night I tried smoky as standard and was not impressed.

 

Tried it again last night, but equipped the PTS alteration.  Seemed to do a lot better.

That's not the impression I got after reading this...

"begin" and "2 minutes" in same paragraph suggests what a7x was expecting.  Is there a more detailed explanation posted somewhere?

Change to battle list is absolutely horrible.  Tease us with a useful change,  listing the name of the map in english,  but then make it impossible to find a particular map because you decided to not list alphabetically.   We don't need to know which battle is newest, we can see time remaining when we click on the battle.   But with ctf mixed in with parkour and xp/bp  it's now as fubared as you could make it.   

 

Is it the intention of the developers to make the game as unplayable as possible beginning with even finding a battle that players just give up and  play world of tanks?

Matchmaking doesn't give me good battles. I think I'm always fighting groups or buyers and that for some reason I'm sent with the noob team. For that reason I'm playing a lot less now, until I see some change.

 

I have no trust in the algorithm you have for matchmaking. Could be that it needs more work or that it's designed that way to force us to buy or suffer.

 

Most battles become one sided pretty quick.
