Add light sources in night mode

Night Mode had a lot of potential, except that the developers became lazy and just only made the map dark as heck. This is bad for gameplay because it puts way too much stress on the eyes in order to play. Or, Rio Night Mode, which has enough lighting without being a pain for the eyes, just doesn't have a night mode feel to it because there are no lights shining in the city.

I feel like the devs need to add more light sources to make the map brighter. Not only would this make this game mode more popular, it would make the night feel more realistic. Right now, the moon doesn't really cast any light onto the map, which would look extremely cool if it did and make it seem more realistic.

My idea's added light sources would include:

1. The moon casts a lot of light. There are still shadows where the moonlight is blocked, such as a house in the way.

An Example of This:

It should be very similar to the current lighting. Maybe the moonlight beams and shadows will be more noticeable.

2. Supply Boxes give off more light. They don't look brighter, however, the area around them lights up a lot.

3. Burning Buildings and Crates. I mean, this is warfare, and these would give tons of light off.

4. Light posts / Torches. New props designed to put light sources in strategic spots on the map.

5. Firebirds burn brighter. The fire should cause the area around them to glow.

6. The LED looking lights in front of the M3 Hulls should act as lights just like the lights in front of a car. Enemies may see you coming, however, this will help you see. You could also sacrifice your vision for being stealthy by driving backwards.

7. Tunnel Lights

Night mode already has moonlight and lighting from supply boxes. Enable dynamic shadows and dynamic lighting.

I actually like night mode a lot because firing gives away your position. The map gets naturally lit up by Ricochet, Twins, and Firebirds.

The moonlight is too dark in night mode. An accurate representation of how much moonlight I want on Sandbox is basically the same lighting as the Halloween Map with the graveyard in the middle. Most players do not enable dynamic shadows or dynamic lighting due to lag concerns/issues, and even with both of those turned on, it is simply not enough.

I love night mode, but I'm just trying to get others to play it. Firing, in all modes, give away your position.

Then why are they playing night mode? Even the sources of light you suggest adding will be pointless for those that don't play with those settings.

Right, but in night mode a lot more so. I like night mode because it is dark, because you can sneak up on people. Honestly, I'd actually prefer if it was darker and there were some light sources in key areas of maps.

Night Mode is a little bit too dark for some players, but few people ever complain about the halloween lighting. The halloween lighting is pretty dark and at night, but there is enough light emitted by the moon for players to see very clearly what is going on on the battlefield. There is some weird spooky green lighting effects during halloween, which can be removed, but otherwise, night mode should still have light in the form of moonlight and the lights from crates. Maybe also even add actual nightlights on the map.

Halloween lighting is practically identical to the current night mode, at least to my eyes.

Spoiler

Actually there are at least four different night light modes in the game. This one is used by maps like Aleksandrovsk, Brest, Bobruisk, Parma.

This one by maps like Silence, Atra, Polygon

The Rio night mode is by far the brightest.

Good idea. When the ability to play in the night for longer periods is restored after they fix their game (HTML5), Stadium lights can really give that feeling of a late night event / arena kind of thing.
