I got it on sale so it costed 300k crystals. It was one of those rare moments when I got a premium mission when a 50% sale also rolled by so I figured it was something to do :P.

Well thats not so good strategy, i bought all <20000 paints on 50% sale instead so i can get expensive ones

Ah, another play-sparingly and buy only on sales thread. I’ve advocated for this approach, but it may be bad advice now. I’ve noticed that playing slowly and setting long term goals has one BIG drawback. Same goes for creating new alts and focusing on a single approach and plan.

The game changes.

And your long term plans go right out the window.

Case in point - Hull Overdrives are about to completely change the game. IMO designers have underestimated the impact this will have on M1 and M2 ranks. M3/M4 ranks will curiously switch to all Dictator format.

Not me, Viking's overdrive looks epic.

The question is, how much will the firing rate increase in the overdrive duration?

It would have to be quite high to even come close to Dictator power. Especially if you can't share it.

And other question is - how long does it last?

For some reason  thought it would be doubled firing speed, but I can't find where I got that. If it is, I'd much rather have 100% more damage on top of supplies, than simply activating supplies. I have plenty of supplies of my own.

It seems you would favor Viking OD over Dictator OD if it is 2x fire-rate?

Consider though...

- Dictator gets a free repair kit and free mine

- You would have cool-down on DA + DD combo

- Dictator can share and up-power team-mates - I suspect other ODs can not share

Overall, without knowing specifics, I'd say Dictator OD is more flexible.

You can use it for attacking, or for things like capping a flag. Being able to use supplies to approach base, including RK, then running off with flag and activating OD for ALL supplies once more is quite effective.

Basically everything we know is gonna be invalid soon enough

Why will people change to Dictator, I wonder? Sure, it has the current overdrive, but it doesn't really seem to be very good, what with the light and medium hull ODs, and the fact that a well-used Hunter OD quickly neutralizes the threat of Dictator. Dictator teams is definitely a scary prospect, but then there's Wasp, Hunter and Viking. Oh, and Hornet OD ignores modules.

Thing is - you only need 1 Dictator to make your team better - it has (I believe) the only OD that can be shared.

Having said that - I would not go out and buy Dictator because of that, especially if I have already invested in a medium hull.

Would not let any of the ODs help decide which hull to buy...

Correction: Titan shares shield, and Hornet shares visibility but only it can ignore modules. Hunter can desupply more than one tank.

What's the use of 'most' In the title

Like from which thing r u comparing it from ?

I think you mean 'more', which I compare to before the module and drone update.

Titan - is the shield movable?  Even if so, tanks must stay near it right?

Hornet - yes others can see hidden tanks. Somewhat useful, but not close to same level as all supplies.

Hunter - harder to get enemies grouped together than it would be for Dictator to get friendlies grouped together.

Dictator IMO would still have the most team-friendly and flexible OD.

I play a lot with hornet, so I am very excited about this

Hornet OD has 2 features.

1. You see all hidden enemies. The point of hiding is not to be unseen but to not get shot. Do not forget that camera is on a higher place than cannon so you can often see enemies which you can not shoot.

This part of Hornet OD is useful only with Magnum which is much better with Viking, Hunter or Titan.

2. You ignore enemy modules. Enemies mostly use modules against OP turrets like Thunder and Smoky.

This part of Hornet OD is useful only with Thunder or Smoky (maybe also Rail, some players do not realise that Rail is UP) which are much better with Viking, Hunter, Dictator, Titan and Mammoth.

Most players use Hornet with Fire or Freeze which is logical because Hornet is best with these turrets. Hornet OD does not help you much when using Fire or Freeze, that means that it is useless.

A: Yes, you hide not just because you want to not get shot but also not get seen.

And it makes that useless. And it's useful for everyone.

The second part I will concede is best with the most heavily protected turrets, but other turrets certainly have use. It's not like they are never protected from.

And all those turrets are great with light hulls too. You seem to overestimate medium, heavy hulls and severely underestimate the use of this OD. I'm on a phone right now though, else I'd like to say more.
