Tankers Leaving Games Halfway

In it's current form Match-Maker is one of the worst implementations I've ever seen in gaming.

 

MM does not have a clue how to even try to set up "balanced" teams.

 

My alt account just finished 4 games in a row that were complete blowouts.  Players soon realize how unbalanced the teams are and quickly leave. And I don't blame them.

 

One of the 4 above battles MM placed me on the losing team half-way through. Needless to say there was no "comeback".

 

Match-Maker stinks like a skunk.

Leaving the losing team makes it yet more unbalanced

And staying is a waste of time in blow-outs.  Without early battle termination, leaving is often the better option.

 

Sitting there as punching bag so winning team can pad their scores is a poor solution.

 

You have anything better to suggest?

every person I see leave a game and not come back (not because they need to reset their game because of the anticheat system) always seems to be using railgun. Its almost like they are looking for a rare battle without that much railgun protection that is just perfect for them so they can camp, poke out and take cheap alteration shots at players capturing points or flags from across the map

 

I watched a random streamer that was using railgun hornet and man did that streamer leave battles over and over

 

and it wasn't like  the streamer immediately left, like when I play juggernaut mode and it dumps into Iran map I just automatically leave because the stupid tunnel camper juggernaut garbage

 

it was play for 1 or 2 minutes look at how much protection there was and leave

I get dumped into a sloppy seconds battle on the loosing team with a whole bunch of noob gun ricochets and twins and camper railguns and I murder them with striker arcade and charge shots for the rest of the match and sometimes win if its capture point.

 

I cant wait for all the magnum haters to start complaining about striker, because I am seeing a lot more strikers now after the update and of course they all have striker protection on

 

I can sense the anger and frustration when I obliterate noob guns in 3 seconds because it only takes 2.8 seconds to launch four 790-970 damage missiles with better than magnum splash damage

I'd say one of the main reasons players leave half way through a battle is because they entered with the sole intention of hoovering up boxes for daily missions. Once they have them, they leave. Other players notice the lack of help from these mission-mults and they leave too.

 

It's even worse at low to mid ranks too. There, you not only get mission mults but you also get noob legends' alt accounts. These are the players who can't handle legend level battles and return to lower ranks with powerful tanks. They're the type that play 20 ranks before starting anew. This because their k/d started to suffer and it became too expensive to invest further for relatively little power advantage. Those new players, who are just trying to get through the game without spending their life savings, are overpowered by these noob legends so they leave due to lack of fun.

 

Plenty of reasons for it. Matchmaking has a lot to answer for too.
